VX-6000 picture size?19 Jul 2003 09:28 GMT5
Someone said that the size of the pictures you get from this phone is
too small to be useful.
I'm not talking about the picture as it appears on the phone screen. I'm

Digital only phone in non-VZ area?19 Jul 2003 05:47 GMT2
We spend many weekends in Northeastern PA, where Verizon has no native
service, and relies on roaming partners. I have SRE, so I can play with
my phone at will. My wife has America's Choice, but she also has a v60i,
so she is in analog there, but my brother-in-law just picked up a ...

unactivated cell phones19 Jul 2003 03:51 GMT4
As I've said before, I bought the VX6000 because I basically don't ever
go anywhere where I only have an analog signal. But I was thinking that I
might pick up a used analog-only cell phone w/ car charger to keep in the
glove compartment... y'know, just for the peace of mind, and ...

T720 - which firmware?18 Jul 2003 23:43 GMT1
I've had a T720c for a while now, and for the most part I've been pretty
happy with it, but there are some software issues that just bug the heck out
of me, on occasion I leave the phone charging and when I return it is off
with words "charge complete". Sometimes if the phone is ...

report of signal level along East Coast18 Jul 2003 15:56 GMT1
We went on a trip down the East Coast, from Poughkeepsie, NY to St
Mary's, Ga, virtually to the Florida line.  Signal levels were native
Verizon Wireless the whole way, except for most of NC, which was
Extended Network.  I am amazed that even in remote areas, signal was

Why are new phones only dual-band?!?!?!18 Jul 2003 14:40 GMT14
I was just looking at the new lG VX-6000 and saw it was only dual band,
and the same goes for the Samsung ACH-530. Why are the new verizon
phones only coming out in dual-band. I unfortunately live in the VT and
there are many, many areas that only get analog. If this trend continues
no MIN in Georgia?18 Jul 2003 13:45 GMT3
Hey, I have a question about the MIN function.  Does it normally work in
Georgia?  I'm visiting there and when I called it with a 4 bar digital
Verizon Wireless signal, I got a recording saying it was an invalid
number.
