Service and Phones14 Jul 2003 20:20 GMT1
I have a couple questions regarding Verizon.
1. We have the single rate national plan and the info booklet indicates that
it covers all 50 states. What are my wife's chances of being able to contact
me in upstate NY from Alaska.

VZserve is so outdated14 Jul 2003 16:10 GMT6
My VZserve is still showing 28 May 2003 bill. If I enable automatic pay... I
wonder if I'll be billed the same old amount again and again.... I'm not
going to try. I'll just use #BAL to pay.
New Phones?14 Jul 2003 15:30 GMT3
My god...another few weeks pass and no new phones...while other compeitor's
slam their services with the rich and new styles. Verizon's network is good,
but won't be forever....only a matter of time.
VZServe still incorrect...14 Jul 2003 14:43 GMT3
VZServe is ridiculous.  It's almost the day for my due date (July 20th) and
there is still no update on the website.  (My next comments may be jaded as
I am having horrible problems with Verizon Wireless right now)  I called
Customer Service a week ago and they stated that the ...

Can you use any phone which states "Express Network Capable" as a device to
plug into a laptop and access the Internet via the Express Network 144kbps?
If this is the case why would anyone purchase the AirPrime PC 3220 or Sierra
Wireless AirCard's, what is their advantage?

Any idea what is going on in the SF bay area?

$309.99  When I went into the Pleasanton, Ca VZW store, they had
$359.99!  Called CS and they said the same.  Whats the deal?  Why does

VX4400 business tones?14 Jul 2003 03:39 GMT1
Does anyone know if there are "normal" tones available for the VX4400?  The
default ringtones are a bit silly and somewhat embarrasing when my
colleagues hear it ring.  I'm just looking for a simple monophonic rinngtone
that would be more appropiate for a profesional environment (e ...
Activating a Sprint phone on Verizon14 Jul 2003 03:01 GMT1
I know VZW usually doesnt care about activating a tri-mode sprint
phone....however, I called 611 several times trying to activate the
Sanyo camera phone (8100).  They said that they would not activate a
phone without the model being in their database.  I know there's ways
Canada roaming14 Jul 2003 00:02 GMT7
I went into a Verizon store a couple of weeks ago to see if there is an
option to roam in Canada without having to pay roaming fees. She looked
up in the computer and said since I have a family share plan, that it
can't be added to my account. I thought that was strange, so I ...
*228 Question13 Jul 2003 23:37 GMT3
Is there any benefit to doing a *228 on the National Single Rate? Would it
help signal strength at all if new towers were added since the phone was
activated?
There were two LG VX 4400's right next to each other. The one was on NSR and
LG VX4400 / Futuredial drivers / Bitpim13 Jul 2003 23:16 GMT4
I wanted to try bitpim (http://bitpim.sourceforge.net/) to manage the phonebook
entries on my VX4400.  I installed bitpim 0.53 on my w2k sp4 box, no problem.
I purchased the VX4400 USB cable (not the one with the serial converter, but the
one specifically labeled for "LG Models 5350 ...
