"Internal USB Capable" ???12 Jul 2003 01:56 GMT1
I was just looking at the specs on LG's website for their lx6000
(http://www.lgmobilephones.com/products/product_detail.php?p=31)
and it mentions "Internal USB Capable"... what does this mean?
I also want to start developing BREW applications, but noticed on
choosing a phone number?12 Jul 2003 01:53 GMT1
Is there a (legitimate) why cell phone carriers (verizon and sprint at
least) will not let you try to select specific phone numbers--they both
did till late last year--is there really a reg which prevents this--?
Larry, you'll know this11 Jul 2003 22:54 GMT6
Hey Lar.
I remember a website that was based around complaints against companies,
Ive seen it posted here a few times, but I dont remember what it is.
From what I remember, SPCS was rated #1 on complaints to this site..
Do MSN alerts or not?11 Jul 2003 21:54 GMT1
I signed up for text alerts via the vtext.com site for the end of game
summary (only) when the Braves play.  But, instead of just getting the
end of game summaries, I'm getting rain delay announcements and
reports of injuries on and off the field.  I could see getting an
kyocera 2235 problem11 Jul 2003 21:07 GMT1
My girlfriend has a new kyocera 2235 When she goes into a store with her
phone on or off it sets off the alarms at the doors when she is entering
and again when she is leaving. It is not just one store, it is the
majority of them. Verizon told her it was a software problem and
Yet another "new phone" question11 Jul 2003 19:28 GMT4
This has probably been posted 5 million times, but when your plan date and
your date that you can get a new phone at the discount rate differ, (I
joined last August for one year, got the promo at Christmas, thus extending
my contract, but I am eligible for a new phone now) how does ...

Be nice to your PA customer service reps today. One of the winning
powerball tickets was sold in Cranberry, Twp PA, where the PA call
center is located!!! :)
LG V4400 vs Motorola T72011 Jul 2003 17:11 GMT4
Has anyone had experience with these phones?  Basically which has better
reception.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
digital only phone in Oregon?11 Jul 2003 16:53 GMT5
Background: I got in on the Family Share Singlerate West plan (StarTac
phones) just before they obsoleted it.  At the time I was pretty happy
since the AC coverage seemed pretty weak in Oregon.  My 1 year was up
last Jan/Feb, so I'm guessing I'm on month to month now.
Confused about 7135 Data Options11 Jul 2003 16:43 GMT5
I looked at the Kyo 7135 Palm/phone yesterday and I'm considering this
as my next phone when I'm eligible for new-customer pricing in
October/November.  But, I'm a little confused by the data options...
The brochure lists Express Network PDA calling plans of $29.99/5MB and
can samsung i500 work on Verizon?11 Jul 2003 06:10 GMT1
I know the official answer is 'NO, but i700 will'.
But has any one heard anything about using i500 with Verizon.  Wheather
it can be 'reprogrammed'
It would be one of the PDA phones that doesn't weight too much (i700 -
West IVR 2yr Contract Accptance Line11 Jul 2003 06:01 GMT3
I am an employee with a company called Minacs, Verizon hired us to do
the 2yr acceptances for the Telesales Department in the West Coast.
For some legal reason, if you want to have a 2yr agreement on a phone
you order OVER THE PHONE, you have to call our system to have it
"Never place your phone in a microwave oven as this will cause the battery to explode."11 Jul 2003 04:42 GMT20
As seen on the VX 4400 user manual.
"Never place your phone in a microwave oven as this will cause the battery
to explode."
Any comments? Do you know anyone who actually puts cell phones in microwave
Looked at the VX6000 today...11 Jul 2003 03:10 GMT4
I stopped by the VZW store today to get a look at the VX6000... and it is
beautiful. I played with it for about 20 minutes. Sounds decent, not as
much bass as my V60i but it's still pretty good. The screens, both inner
and outer, are gorgeous. Ringers are nice and loud, and I ...
