option 5 on voicemail.... question.26 Jul 2003 00:50 GMT2
Someone had posted in here recently that you can press 5 when calling
someones voicemail and it will leave a callback number. I tried it on my own
phone and it sent me a txt message of the callback number i left. My
question is, do i have to pay the .02 for the txt i just got?
PTT is VERY rude.....25 Jul 2003 21:58 GMT20
I'm sorry to see that PTT is so desired.  Don't people realize that PTT is
VERY rude.  When some idiot near me starts using it, I make as much noise as
I can. When will people learn manners and quit being so lazy they can't hold
the phone to their ear.
Kyocera 7135 Battery25 Jul 2003 21:38 GMT1
An e-Bay seller informs me of a problem with batteries for the 7135.  He
says Kyocera is having trouble approving batteries from the manufacturer
because they are not performing to specifications.
Is anyone aware of this issue?  How have your batteries been performing.
"SWI exception" when accessing internet on phone25 Jul 2003 21:07 GMT1
I have a 2-year-old LGIC LG-TM 510; a few days ago, when I tried to
access the mobile Web, an "SWI exception" message came up and froze
the phone completely. This happens every time I try to access the
Internet now (so I, uh, don't :) ). And when it happens, the only way
*228 works nationwide, according to CS.25 Jul 2003 20:13 GMT8
I've had a couple minor issues with dropped calls in certain places
in the Victor Valley since moving here. I know part of the issue is the
terrain -- I'm in a desert area surrounded by two mountain ranges. :) But
I figured maybe a *228 PRL update might help. I haven't updated my ...
Disable #646 Txt messages from verizon?25 Jul 2003 19:41 GMT7
I added text messaging and I noticed after I called #646 a TXT message
arrived with my account balance and minutes used.  I don't have a txt
messaging plan so I guess I will be paying .02 for each message. Is there a
way to turn off these automatic messages from Verizon with out ...
phone activation25 Jul 2003 19:38 GMT2
hi, I was wondering if when you purchase a cell phone and pricing plans
online - does the phone come to your door activated? or do I need to take it
to my local store and have them activate it?
the reason I need to buy online, is because I live in hickville, PA.. and
Need an opinion here25 Jul 2003 19:29 GMT1
After over a year of dealing with another provider, I'm going back to
Verizon.  I've checked into the 6000.  Played with it and it seemed
great.  My only dilemma is I'm pretty sure I'm going to want PTT and the
Samsung A690.  Should I go ahead and get the 6000 or wait for PTT to
VX6000 And EN Access....25 Jul 2003 19:18 GMT2
Does anyone have info on when the LG VX6000 can be used with Express
Network? Will the cable for the VX4400 work on the VX6000?
When I purchased the phone last week, they were willing to put EN on my
account, but said there will be no cables available until September!
Phonebook entry on V120e25 Jul 2003 18:51 GMT9
What's the best way, the manual doesn't explain it clearly enough. All it
shows is a 10 digit number in one of the pictures.
As background, My old phone had options for "add area code", which could be
enabled for travel, and "dial 1" for LD, so if the phonebook entry was
Express Network25 Jul 2003 18:06 GMT2
I have a client who is using the express network on his laptop using the
aircard.  He can browse the internet just fine, but he is using an
application that accesses a Microsoft SQL Server over the internet and it
will not find the server.  He can ping the server address, he just ...

Adding init strings25 Jul 2003 15:54 GMT2
I still can't get my T720 to work for a Quick to Net connection.  It works
fine dialing my ISP for a internet connection, but when I dial #777 qnc/qnc
it dials and starts connecting, but then immediately disconnects.  Someone
posted an initialization string to add, but I can't ...
Billing system upgrade in Oregon25 Jul 2003 10:58 GMT7
First the good news:  For the first time ever (for me) minute usage
estimates include M2M minute usage and appear to be quite accurate.  The
data is still delayed 48 hours (as it always has been here in Oregon).  Now,
when we dial "#646"(MIN)  for the minute usage estimate, we get a ...
