Using express network17 Aug 2003 05:29 GMT2
I just signed up for VZ/AC.  One of the resons is that express netork
can be used with regular miinutes on the AC plan as has been discussed
here. I confirmed this when I orded the phone (LG 4400).  At first the
store said no, but then they checked and said yes.  It even says "EN
VX6000 vibrate then ring???17 Aug 2003 04:52 GMT3
I was looking at the 6000 today and I saw that it did not have an option to
vibrate and then ring...this is a big deal to me and if I am correct that it
doesn't have this feature then I don't think I'll upgrade from my vx10.
Could you possibly download a ring tone that would do ...
1xRTT and the a31017 Aug 2003 03:13 GMT4
Quick (and probably stupid) question.
I have a Samsung a310 phone (it's 1xRTT capable) on Verizon with the
America's Choice plan.  So, is my phone using a 1xRTT connection when
I make a call or is it using the old CDMAone?  I'm a little confused -
Alaska Trip17 Aug 2003 02:48 GMT8
Headed up to Alaska on vacation in early October. Anybody familiar with
current status of VZW or extended network service in Anchorage,
Fairbanks and the 360 miles in between?
PING: (OT) Larry16 Aug 2003 23:59 GMT3
Larry,
Seeing as you are one of our resident HAMs, I have a question.
Say I want to become a HAM, do I need to learn Morse code if I only
wish to broadcast in voice?
Express network and Microsoft Exchange16 Aug 2003 22:35 GMT1
Has anyone got express network working with the exchange client?
I got express working and the speed looks ok, but exchange keeps
saying the network is not there (retry or use local).
This could be from one of 2 things;
Problem with VX4400?  Any ideas?16 Aug 2003 21:13 GMT4
Tonight I ran into two issues with subject phone.
1.  I could not make or receive any phone calls.  I just received a message
"call failed".  The signal strength was at the lowest level and did not change
even when I knew I was in a strong signal area.  The phone basically did not
No fee ISP access still avail?16 Aug 2003 19:56 GMT2
Can one still connect to the internet via my cell phone with the proper
cable/PDA combo?
And setup QNC or something like that I believe it was called?
Anyone point me to directions on how to do this?
old fashioned ringtone?16 Aug 2003 18:20 GMT3
Hey guys,
My new Verizone cell phone has such an obnoxiously loud ring volume I
thought I'd go all the way and try to find an old-fashioned ring tone (think
circular number dial and a grating "Brrrrrr-r-r-r-r-r-r-ring!")> If one is
Verizon PTT Phones16 Aug 2003 16:16 GMT3
Has anyone heard about the phones for PTT?  I have seen the V60p but are
there any other ones?  Color screens perhaps?
Thanks
V60p analog capability or all digital?16 Aug 2003 14:45 GMT1
Is this phone going to have the ability to be manually switched to analog or is
it going to be a 'digital only' phone
I understand that if its in analog mode that the PTT function wouldn't work.
Any info would be appreciated
LG VX6000 ringtones16 Aug 2003 05:00 GMT1
Hey, I have been trying to get this to work for some time with no
luck.  I have tried emailing an MIDI file from every possible way, and
I keep getting errors.
It says:
V120e Unknown Icon16 Aug 2003 03:29 GMT4
Anyone know what the icon is on the right side of the display near the
battery indicator.  It looks like a circle with a cross in the middle.
thanks
Bob
Switching phones on VZServe16 Aug 2003 00:44 GMT4
As mentioned here, there is now an option of changing your phone by
going to VZServe and entering a new ESN.
My question is this:
1. There was no mention of a fee being added to my bill for doing this.
