Anyone ever travel or live near Northfield, MN?  This is right on the

this town well is?  Curious how VM notification, TXT msging and CID

Poor service / local interference10 Aug 2003 00:19 GMT6
I have been with verizon wireless for ~3 years now and have had problems
making calls from my home in Arlington with both of the phones I owned
(StarTac ST7868W and StarTac T720c) during that time.  I can place outgoing
calls soon after the phone is turned on, but the phone almost ...

Hi.  If SprintPCS is not in the prl for a given market, can I force SPCS in
NAM2, and is roaming free on Americas Choice on Sprint PCS no matter which
market or only the markets in the PRL?

LG 4400 dropped calls in Houston09 Aug 2003 15:08 GMT4
I live in the middle of Houston and sitting in my house, the phone
will run from 4 bars to 1 to "extended" network to dropped call in
seconds.  Is this normal? Could my phone be bad?  I  have read on this
group that the audiovox 9500 is a better phone but the Verizon stores
Motorola BAttery life09 Aug 2003 15:01 GMT1
Is there a Motorola ( or has there ever been) a Motorola portable with a
decent battery life seems every review I read, the talk time is always
listed as not good. How much do the extra capacity batteries help?
? for Justa and/or Rich on Michigan interpretation09 Aug 2003 14:43 GMT2
As always, thanks for the info.
As I interpret PRL 50096, it appears (at least in Cheboygan county) that,
even though Cheboygan is now digital, we will roam on RFB Cellular because
it is a higher priority (Priority 3) than Alltel is (Priority 4). Is this
New Nextel09 Aug 2003 08:49 GMT23
I'm looking to buy my hubby 2 new cell phones for his birthday next week.
(actually one for him and one for me)  I know that both our phones have been
past contract and he keeps eyeing those color Nextel phones.
I admit they look pretty cool
Yet another post about data plans09 Aug 2003 07:24 GMT1
I've just spent two hours reading every alt.cellular.verizon post from
the last couple of months with the word 'data' in it. I still have a
few questions. Hopefully these questions won't be too stupid.
1. If I pay for the $79.99 unlimited data plan can I also pay $39,99
lg 6000 & brew 2.0?09 Aug 2003 06:22 GMT1
Does this phone support Brew 2.0?
The verizon page mentions Get it Now and brew, but it is unclear
whether the 2.0 is the version of Get it Now or actually brew 2.0
Thanks in advance,
