*228 Option #1 hurt the phone?06 Aug 2003 19:19 GMT6
Hello.  If I do *228 and hit option #1 to update my prl and to see if there
are any new firmware updates is this in any way bad to do?  Im curious as to
why they have a #1 and #2 if you can just do #1 regardless if such is the
case.  Doesnt take much longer for #1 than #2.
Palm OS on Kyocera 6035; email sync problems06 Aug 2003 19:05 GMT1
Does anyone know of any problems with installing version 4 of Palm OS
on a Kyocera 6035?  I am running the Palm Desktop 4.1 with the phone
and there are no problems, other than email not syncing.
I use Intellisync 4.0 to work through the HotSync connection.
verizon feature codes?06 Aug 2003 17:44 GMT1
Somewhere, I remember seeing a list of codes for different features, i.e..
#646 for MOU  and others for call forwarding etc.  I have searched the news
group and must not be using the right criteria.  Could someone either point
me in the right direction or better yet repost the list.
Going to Sturgis?06 Aug 2003 15:58 GMT5
I'm not sure why this qualifies as News, but it was all over South Dakota
Public Radio and in a few dailies this morning.
Imagine that, Verizon Wireless anticipates two and a half shitloads of use
in Sturgis! Regardless, some info for those going:

Canada. Received a garbled answer. Have asked for clarification (scroll to

The question posed to CS: "Current plan is NSR 1500 including Express
Prepay phone-laptop connection06 Aug 2003 04:08 GMT1
I have a temporary need to connect a laptop to a cellphone during a
trip up the east coast next month.  My research indicates that Verizon
is the best bet for this.  I have been testing an LG4000 that I
activated a few days ago with the America's Choice plan and the Zero

Verizon Spyware05 Aug 2003 23:45 GMT5
This evening, I checked out the LG4400 CD.  When exiting, noptify.exe
started trying to access the Internet, and continued to try for access.  It
identifies itself as a Verizon file, and would not let me delete if from
the limited access account I was in (would from an admin ...

has happened? Thank you. Sheldon
Qwest Customers to use Sprint Network05 Aug 2003 21:05 GMT2
I'm posting this here because a month ago Qwest was negotiating with
Verizon to create a virtual network to Qwest customers to move to, and
the resulting speculation about Qwest's spectrum.  But the deal went to
Sprint, instead.

EN MOU - VZW mad?05 Aug 2003 18:55 GMT7
Something just occured to me. How could VZW be mad that people found this
feature code? AFAIK It is automatically added to any new or plan changed
account since June 1 (?) I understand that it may not have been their intent
to give this away for actual EN/Internet Access.  However, ...
