Anyone kknow if the Alltel phones are locked.  Verizon has been liberal with

Hi guys, ok... I had the VX 4400 for a while when it first released,
and DID like the phone... however, I DID exchange it for another phone
because I just didn't like the ring tones.  Well, needless to say, I'm
back on the 4400 again, and it's really a great phone, in my opinion.

anyone happen to know if the verizon wireless coverage in and around
richmond is any good? would VW be the best choice?

I've got the VX4400 and am in the middle of Manhattan.  It
offers many rings but none seem loud enough to combat the
