Anyone kknow if the Alltel phones are locked.  Verizon has been liberal with
me activating most any phone, and someone here must have tried this before.

VX4400 Reboots29 Aug 2003 14:55 GMT1
How many people have seen this issue?
My new phone reboots over and over.  So far I have tracked it down to 2
places--on top of a DVD player and on top of a filing cabinet near my
computers.  However, now it isnt rebooting at all.

Back from Myrtle Beach I found the use for the 4400 answer machine

Should I take advantage of 2 free 120e's for new service or should I shell

Ruggedized CDMA Phone?29 Aug 2003 03:26 GMT5
I've searched for a "ruggedized" phone for use on the Verizon network
and cannot seem to find this type of CDMA phone anywhere!  We used to
use iDEN phone and enjoyed their physical qualities.
Can someone please give me a lead on where to find one.
VX 4400, electronics related.29 Aug 2003 03:19 GMT3
Hi guys, ok... I had the VX 4400 for a while when it first released,
and DID like the phone... however, I DID exchange it for another phone
because I just didn't like the ring tones.  Well, needless to say, I'm
back on the 4400 again, and it's really a great phone, in my opinion.

the old computer.  I also read in some message that the 9000 is not compatible
with xp.  Is there any work around to use this ...

VERY loud ringtone?28 Aug 2003 19:12 GMT6
I've got the VX4400 and am in the middle of Manhattan.  It
offers many rings but none seem loud enough to combat the
noise of a busy city street when the phone is in my
backpack or sometimes even when it's in my pocket.
Office Message Alert28 Aug 2003 18:12 GMT4
I had OMA turned on for both of my accounts and after 24 hours tried to test
it.  Nothing.
When I called tech support they hadn't heard of it and had to get a member of
management involved.  He knew of OMA but acting like what I was describing had
