Returned phone question? 28 Aug 2003 13:48 GMT4
Does anyone know what VZW does with a phone that someone has brought back
within the 15 day period? They can't sell it as new i am assuming? Or do
they repackage it and reset it and give it to you as new? I was wondering
per se if you went or called a store and offered half price ...
Couple of questions re. LG VX440028 Aug 2003 06:09 GMT4
Coming from a Kyocera 2235 with the little, uncovered plug-in for charger,
car charger, etc., I'm now realizing that it was more convenient than the
rubber strip covering the same input on my 4400.  That little thing is gonna
be a pain to keep track of, and I'm wondering how ...
Goodbye T720, Hello ???28 Aug 2003 05:32 GMT5
After 8 months of a dealing with a POS T720 Verizon has finally agreed to
let me trade phones (of course as it is now I have to sign another year
extension to my agreement, criminal).  I do not want to make the same
mistake again and my track record with picking out phones is ...

Verizon does not have any.  I checked LG's website and they are out of
stock.  I found one online from a site, thesupplynet.com, they charge $59.95
This is USB, not Serial.  Will this be a problem, will it work with the
express network on my laptop?

What date did the 2.99 unlimited pix messaging change to 4.99 for
unlimited and 20 pix for 2.99?
Damn VZW is telling me that when I signed up for the 2.99 plan it was only
for 20 pix messages not unlimited. I could of sworn they told me it was
How does VW determine your market?27 Aug 2003 21:16 GMT5
I live in the NY/NJ area and am on the AC plan with unlimited n&w.
There is a chance I might have to move to the Atlanta area. There are
some benefits of being in the NY/NJ market, most notably no extra
charge for calls to Canada. I was wondering if I keep the same NJ
VX 6000 data cable27 Aug 2003 19:07 GMT4
Does anyone have info when a data cable - either LG or another brand - will

Verizon version of the SPH-i500?27 Aug 2003 18:45 GMT9
I was just looking around on the Sprint site to compare and contrast the
available phones with Verizon's (I currently have Verizon service and use
a Samsung a310).
I think I may now be obsessed with the Samsung i500.
Call Forward Do Not Answer Feature27 Aug 2003 17:22 GMT1
My phone used to switch after three rings. Now it takes about six.
Is this adjustable, either by the consumer or by customer service?

Definition of night?27 Aug 2003 17:17 GMT1
Under Verizon America's Choice National,
the "night" is defined as from 9 pm. Is this
in the time zone of the home area where the
phone's area code is located or the one of

is it possible to have 2 phones on the same line?27 Aug 2003 14:03 GMT4
I'm wondering, i want to get the LG VX6000 but for times when i travel
outside NYC, is it possible to have a 2nd phone (AMPS capable, maybe the
VX4400) and keep them live on the same line at all times?
New software/firmware updates, how?27 Aug 2003 13:25 GMT2
So I understand that in order to get new software/firmware updates for your
wireless handset you can go to Verizon and they will fix you up.
My question is that we still own a Nokia 5185i and we have had it since
May/June of 2001. It isn't able to send text messages (even though the
