samsung a310 - how long is standby?16 Sep 2003 07:25 GMT1
I have a a310 I bought from verizon last week.  It seems to only hold a
charge for 12 - 15 hrs and I haven't made very many calls.
The tech in the store says not to charge it unless it is down to one battery
bar, then charge it at home with the phone power off (because the software

So far I haven't had any issues with the T730.
I was wondering if the NFL faceplates will work on the T730?
Thanks!

phones like the LG vx-310016 Sep 2003 01:15 GMT4
My family has a sprint plan right now and I'm not too happy with it,
so I'm trying to find another carrier with better service in my area
and with better phones. I've heard good things about Verizon and some
of my friends at school have Verizon, so I know it's good. My sprint
I've recieved 2 bills, but no rebate15 Sep 2003 21:20 GMT3
I've recieved 2 bills for service so far.  Even had one bill with $75
of overage, because the 'express network' thought I was still
connected.  The only thing that saved me were 2 voice calls made 1
hour after by supposed 4 hour connection with express network.

Anyone switch from  Nextel to Verizon?15 Sep 2003 20:10 GMT7
I am curious to see what people have thought about the (2) different PTT
services after switching. Do you notice  a difference? Is it tolerable?
LG VX6000 beats my V60i handsdown.15 Sep 2003 20:07 GMT10
This past week I decided to give the VX6000 a try. One of my co-workers
already had one and was always raving about it. I had been using both a
V60i and a V120e. The V60i was my personal phone while the V120e was
provided by my employer. I replaced the V60i (gave it to the Mrs.). ...

to change to Verizon but they don't offer a 6200 series Blackberry. Anyone
know if they will anytime soon?

Billing question15 Sep 2003 13:37 GMT4
Does anyone know how long a cell phone company such as verizon will continue
charging a customer after they have shut off their service for non-payment?
Would it be for the duration of the contract? Or would they simply turn it
over to collections after a couple of months and charge ...

It seems to charge in the OEM desk charger without a problem and I seem to
get pretty good time out of the battery...however, when using the car

Service _very_ flaky15 Sep 2003 04:13 GMT11
Here's a question for you. I've had a VX6000 since the week it came out,
and it always worked pretty well. Signal strength in my house is quite
strong--6 bars just about everywhere. But I've been having a lot of trouble
lately. It started a few days ago, when somebody tried to ...
Using Cell to Connect to ISP15 Sep 2003 03:23 GMT1
About 5 years ago I used my Sprint cell phone to connect my laptop to my
dial up ISP. It was very slow but served the purpose. I'm thinking of
getting Verizon Wireless service and I'd like to know which phone would work
best for this function. Is this the best way to get on line in ...
