I got an e-mail from Kyocera stating that the slider will be available
at the end of October and they are doing a promo for MTV and Virgin
Mobile.
Do you think I can buy the phone and hook it up w/ VZW?

Does anybody have any experience with the Body Glove case? I picked one up
at Circuit City for $20. Nice style and nice detachable clip with indented
pivot points on the clip.
However, it fit the phone so snug that the lower button on the side was
#MIN Discrepancies.. anyone else? PLEASE HELP13 Oct 2003 08:08 GMT32
Ok. I don't know whets going on, but here's the situation.
My wife and I both have service with Verizon. We have the same plan, and all
that good stuff. We've made no changes to our calling plans, etc.
Our cycles both end on the 22nd of each month, and re-start on the 23rd of
LG4400 software13 Oct 2003 05:32 GMT2
I have just bought a LG4400 and have read newsgroups about software version
6 versus version 8.  3 questions:
1.  How can I tell which version of software I have?
2.  What advantages does version 8 have over version 6
AC coverage removed from OR/WA-- I have now been billed roaming charges.13 Oct 2003 04:10 GMT5
The PRL I had this past billing cycle (50096) showed US Cellular areas as
friendly roam, and I made about 30 minutes of calls roaming in US Cellular
areas.  The new PRL 50110 has since removed those SID's from the AC plan
(marking them solid roam).
My experience with Verizon in store tech support13 Oct 2003 03:39 GMT4
I was up in Baltimore for a friends wedding this weekend and brought my
A530.  The first night there I noticed that I was not able to make or
receive calls.  My phone would ring, and I would hit talk but would not be
able to hear anything.  On outgoing calls, it would connect but I ...

I am thinking about signing up with Verizon and heard that the T730 and the
LG4400 are the two best phones that Verizon offers.  Does anyone have any
opinions on which phone I should get.

Blackberry and Family plan13 Oct 2003 01:41 GMT1
Is it possible to tie the blackberry and its required EN into the family
plan as the primary or 2nd line.  We currently have 39.99 family plus 1
line.  I would like to replace 1 phone with blackberry and am willing to pay
if it isn't too much.
A310 cell modem setup13 Oct 2003 00:41 GMT3
Hi, I just got a data cable for my Samsung A310 and I'm having a hell of a
time getting on to the internet with it.  I installed the driver for the
USB modem cable and that seems to have been succesful.  I am trying to use
the free14.4Kbps service.  I seem to be able to dial, ...
Kyo Phantom13 Oct 2003 00:40 GMT37
I'm looking to activate a Kyocera Phantom (414) on the Verizon network.
Will this work? The wholesaler lists it under "Generic CDMA" and the
model is Trimode. Verizon customer service claims the phone is not
"Verizon Compatible" but I've been told that as long as it's trimode
V60P qnc13 Oct 2003 00:40 GMT2
Okay, so I have the phone, I bought a Radio Shack cable, set up the

at 19,200bps.
When I set up a dialup connection and try to connect via quick-to-net,
