UPDATE ON DAVID DOMANSKI11 Oct 2003 18:46 GMT11
David Domanski, it turns out, works in a Verizon store in Michigan. I will
not say which city yet but it was amazingly easy to track him down. I also
got his home address and telephone number.
I spoke with his supervisor, the store manager for almost 20 minutes. She
Nokia 638511 Oct 2003 18:28 GMT4
I'm curious why a candybar phone that has no color screen, camera, or games,
can still sell for $150 plus on Ebay.  Maybe some people just like the
phone.  I realize that Nokia's 6385 is a dinosaur, but I also know that
there are a bunch of them on Verizon.  I have used mine for ...
3585 86 and 6385 users read this11 Oct 2003 18:14 GMT10
Please answer this for me. I've read where you can use a Nokia 3585
phone on Verizon if you activate it online.
For 3586 or 6385 users anyone hook one up with Verizon yet? How?
For all three. What provider was the phone intended for?

Verizon contracts and deception11 Oct 2003 05:34 GMT30
I am having a hack of a time with my Verizon wireless account and
customer service. I was hoping I might get some advice from those who have
dealt with them in the past. Let me start by saying that Verizon Wireless
is my only choice for wireless connectivity because only their ...

LG phones dont ring whle charging?10 Oct 2003 22:25 GMT3
i was told by a friend that his LG (i believe its the 4400), when set to
vibrate will not ring when its charging.  i've always had motorola phones

Verizon PTT10 Oct 2003 20:25 GMT10
I heard a rumor that Verizon uses some of Nextel's towers for the
walkie talkie feature.  Is that true?  I find it hard to believe.  If
that was true then you COULD radio a Nextel customer with a Verizon
phone!
VX 6000 Question10 Oct 2003 15:54 GMT3
Can you set individual ringers for callers w/this phone?  That's one of my
fav. features on my Sharp Z800.

America's Choice or National SingleRate?10 Oct 2003 15:07 GMT5
I'm switching from AT&T to Verizon this week.  I live in New Mexico and
currently have the AT&T OneRate plan since I travel ~once/quarter around the
country, and their NM coverage isn't that great and I didn't want to pay
roaming charges.  I'm trying to decide whether to go with the ...

verizon web page, FAQ, etc.

Industry Blasts Verizon PTT10 Oct 2003 08:40 GMT25
After one month of push-to-talk competition between Verizon Wireless and
market incumbent Nextel Communications, Verizon is insistent it has made
strong inroads?even as critics lambaste the service quality of the
company's application.
Any Tri-Mode Phones Due Out10 Oct 2003 07:29 GMT30
Are any more tri-mode phones expected to be released in the future, or are
tri-mode phones dead.  I travel enough to areas that I still need analog.
Thanks in advance.
