| Anyone have the new Audiovox 8600 | 10 Oct 2003 00:13 GMT | 1 |
I just picked up the LG4400 and its not bad. The new audiovox is a little smaller, also a trimode(the reason I didn't get the samsung 530 or the vx6000) and the screen quality looks to be a whole lot better than the 4400. I recall audivox putting out some really solid phones and

I know that this has been asked before but I did a search and there has been nothing mentioned about this phone since April and I was wondering if there were any more rumored release dates for the Samsung i600. I just purchased the VX6000 and it seems to be a pretty descent

| 1xRTT question | 09 Oct 2003 18:13 GMT | 2 |
I have a question on 1xRTT some of you CDMA gurus might know. My understanding of 1xRTT is an additional two 1.25MHz carriers in addition to the IS-95. When I'm doing data access, how "shared" is it? In other words, if a bunch of people get on Express Network on

Is it possible to download midi sound bites that are not songs and have them play on your phone? For instance, if I wanted Homer Simpson saying, "mmmm donuts" and found a midi for it (I haven't yet, figured I'd ask if it's possible so I don't kill myself looking) could I play it on ...

| VX4400 -- should I upgrade to v. 08? | 09 Oct 2003 11:26 GMT | 1 |
Version 08 firmware is now available at my local store (Portland Maine). Should I get my phone flashed? What will change? Right now I have v. 06. I can't say I'm having many problems with it except it occasionally switches to analog in the middle of a phone call when I'm using it ...
