PRL 50110 has been released and here are the changes compared to PRL

www.justalurker.com and www.mountainwireless.com   I'll start with the
"bad" news and work towards the "good" news.  Some changes in priority ...

PTT Plans02 Oct 2003 17:31 GMT3
Does anyone see more PTT plan options coming down the road soon?  I
still have many employees carrying pagers who really could use PTT
instead.  But they definitely don't need an AC400 plan...
I'd like to see a few less expensive options.  For my purposes of pager

Capacity Issues in Eugene Oregon02 Oct 2003 16:33 GMT6
I work at the University of Oregon, and yesturday was the first day of
classes.  I watched my cell phone go from 3 bars of digital signal, to zero,
to "searching..." repeatedly yesturday into the evening.  Our enrollment cap
was raised to include ~4000-5000 new students, and I think ...
Reception inside buildings?02 Oct 2003 14:41 GMT13
I am considering signing with Verizon and had a question.  How is their
signal quality inside buildings?  I am coming from Sprint and their
reception indoors had always been a weak spot for them.  Generally, does
VZW have good indoor signal strength and voice quality?
How long is a particular phone likely to stay on the market?02 Oct 2003 08:00 GMT5
I am interested in the VX4400, but won't be eligible to upgrade (New
Every Two) until next May.  Do you think that this phone would still
be available then?  Hopefully it would be a little cheaper, too...
Thanks.
Latest Verizon Gripes/comments02 Oct 2003 07:52 GMT1
Well - I'm back in the UP until Saturday, so I decided to call Verizon
before I left to see what they could tell me about why my phone says
"Extended Network" up here, but get charged roaming.  After being on
hold for a long time, I basically got, Marquette isn't on our list of
New AC Coverage Maps - ? for Bill, Justa or Rich02 Oct 2003 05:21 GMT16
Did anyone catch the thread on HowardForums.com regarding the new AC maps
that now refer to rates AND coverage?  Specifically for my area (Michigan),
the new AC map seems to show complete AC coverage for the lower peninsula
(except for the thumb).  This, however, seems counter to ...

Mistakes & Impossible Rate Plans (was Screwed out of Money)02 Oct 2003 04:13 GMT3
In some markets, VZW may be incapable of providing a shareplan on a PTT
phone. In some networks and billing systems, it may technically
impossible.

I just need a number in another area code... Southern California02 Oct 2003 03:45 GMT10

finding exactly what I want. I have Verizon Wireless service in San
