Has anyone succeeded in writing BREW code
for the Motorola T720c to read data from
the RS232 port and send it over TCPIP?

VZW Coverage in New Orleans?22 Oct 2003 04:49 GMT1
I'm traveling to New Orleans for a weekend. How's VZW coverage there?
Should I load any specific PRL (I have backup copies from over a year) for best
coverage?
Speakerphone for Verizon as good as NEXTEL?22 Oct 2003 03:25 GMT8
I used to have NEXTEL.  Their speakerphone was so good that I could literally
answer a call and throw the phone on the seat next to me and carry on a
conversation.
Unfortunately NEXTEL's coverage areas are the pits.  Now I have Verizon and
My new vx440022 Oct 2003 01:47 GMT16
I finally retired one of my Startac 7868's and replaced it with a LG VX4400
from Circuit City. With a 1year contract extension it cost me $159. After 30
days I can apply for my $50 rebate from Circuit City making a net cost of
$109. Probably not too bad a deal.
Motorola 120e Questions21 Oct 2003 20:19 GMT2
Just started Verizon service with Motorola 120e and had a few questions
(perhaps a couple that should have been asked before buying).
1.  When setting up the Phone Book the "Type" always comes up with
"Work" at the top of the list.  Is there any way of reordering this list
Express Network Lag21 Oct 2003 16:20 GMT2
Is there anyway to improve the latency of the Express network?  I like it
but the lag sometimes is pretty bad when browsing websites.
Thanks

What is Voice Privacy? (LG VX6000)21 Oct 2003 10:53 GMT5

Handsets for Hearing Impaired?21 Oct 2003 05:18 GMT8
My friends hearing impaired daughter is away at school in SoCal and
has used Startac 7868's successfully with hearing aids.
She needs a new phone, since the display is failing. Although
refurbished Startacs seem to be cheap and plentiful, are there any
Send Pix to Email still not working (LG VX6000)21 Oct 2003 05:10 GMT18
Well after speaking with 3 techs yesterday, and all of them telling me
"It's working fine", but it never actually gets to either of my mail
servers, I think I may have figured something out.
I signed up for the new Unlimited PiX and TeXt messaging. But I did not
Voice rings tricks with VX600021 Oct 2003 04:39 GMT2
Send your self a voice memo from your phone. Save it as a sound then set
it as a ring. OK now for the fun.
Record cool song clips as voice memo, save as sound. Cool fun.
Now funnier record Homer Simpson saying "Oh Crap!" save it and set it
Internet access21 Oct 2003 04:06 GMT40
I am on the road most of the time and need to have internet/email access
that's reliable. So, I'm thinking of getting a tri-mode phone (LG VX4400 or
T730 or V120e) with the Mobile Office Kit and the plan would be America's
Choice.
