I just completed a residential move and misplaced my Samsung charger
that came with my A310. I'll find it eventually, but in the mean time,
how easy is it to get another charger (a) from the Verizon Store or (b)
from the local Radio Shack?

stronger signal from a tower. What other codes does Verizon have that
can improve your cell phone service. Anyone know anymore than the two

I just upgraded to a vox8600, and noticed it comes up 1X instead of "D" for
service area.  Could someone please explain what the advantage is (or not)
coming up in 1X. I'm located in a suburb south of Chicago.

I know there will be charges using AC in Toronto , but can anyone give me an
idea of reception and calling ability on this plan from there? Also what did

Unrelated to Verizon but on the Audiovox CDM9500, if the network is 1X and
the phone according to the book should show a 1X, is it a programming issue
on the switch side or the phone side that would prevent it from showing a 1X
or just showing a D?

   Here in San Diego (and in Boston, I believe) Verizon is testing a cool
little wireless card that you plug into your laptop for Internet access. I
believe it gives you 300kbps downstream. Unlimited access for $80/mo..Not

    I have a spare phone at home that I got on Ebay (Motorola V120E) for a
song & a dance. My daughter is in the process of selling her Nextel -bad
investment--basic charge including taxes $86 per month. She is currently in
school in NYC. I want to add her to my family plan.

Those upstarts at Commnet Wireless have captured yet more territory away
from Verizon, by applying for several more cell sites.  It's all
perfectly legal, and is part of an initiative by the FCC to get unserved
areas of the country with cell service.

Can a text messaging package be added to an AC family share account
with the messages shared between all phones or must each phone have
its own text messaging add on?

I just did an ESN change from the VX4400 I've been trying back
to my old reliable Nokia 3285. After entering the "new" ESN, the
Verizon web page asks for a model. The list includes the 2285 and
6385. It also lists "RSA2083," anyone have any idea what that is?
