PRL 50113 has been released and here are the changes compared to PRL 50110. Some of the details of the SIDs were obtained from www.justalurker.com and www.mountainwireless.com I'll start with the "bad" news and work towards the "good" news. Some changes in priority

| New Kyocera phones? | 18 Nov 2003 17:16 GMT | 8 |
Does anyone know if VZW is planning on introducing any new Kyocera phones soon? I love the Kyocera feature set, but my 3035 is just too damn unstable. I'd go for the 2325, but I'd really miss the speaker phone capability. And I definitely want to stay with the candy bar

| Samsung 530 now available in silver | 18 Nov 2003 17:03 GMT | 3 |
For those who haven't seen it yet, the 530 is now offered in silver. Good alternative for those who like the phone but don't like the gold. Silver one also doesn't include the extra battery. KC

| How do I get a reduced price for an i600? | 18 Nov 2003 13:58 GMT | 8 |
I really want to grab myself the new Samsung i600 (I currently have the LG vx6000). I've been waiting for it ever since I stumbled on to the Sprint's i500 a number of months ago. My two year contract isn't up until July or so, so I'm not within $100

| Cheapest area code for taxes and fees? | 18 Nov 2003 13:40 GMT | 14 |
I'm looking at going through a company that resells Verizon Wireless airtime. There's no local numbers available where I live (even if I went direct through Verizon). So, I understand I can choose some rediculusly far away area code such as MN, CO, UT, WA, OR, or other western ...

| America's Choice in MI Expands | 17 Nov 2003 22:41 GMT | 2 |
After recent trips to the UP in the Gwinn/Marquette area and having my phone show Extended Network (because it picked up Alltel's Digital SID 244) but yet being billing roaming charges, because that part of Michigan, the western end of the UP, was not part of the AC Network, I

| new Nokia phones | 17 Nov 2003 16:18 GMT | 6 |
Has anyone had any experience with the new Nokia offerings at Verizon? I know history is not too good with Nokias and Verizon in general but the new offerings are too good to pass up. I have an old LG-TM510 that's about dead from overuse. The 4400 has got me

| Establishment winning? | 17 Nov 2003 16:04 GMT | 2 |
It seems to me that in the last couple of weeks quality information around here has come to a crawl. I have also noticed that PhoneScoop has updated their entire site and now has private forums. There entire site now is updated very infrequently, and there is little or no traffic ...

| Would You or Wouldn't You? | 17 Nov 2003 16:00 GMT | 3 |
In the news today in NYC a guy dropped his cell phone in the toilet on a Metro North commuter train. His arm got stuck in the toilet trying to retrieve it. The train had to be evacuated and many trains rerouted. It took fire fighters an hour to free his arm.

| Voicemail Problem | 17 Nov 2003 01:26 GMT | 4 |
Starting yesterday, every time I turn on my phone and it makes contact with a tower I get an indication that I have a new voicemail message. When I call to check it I'm told that I have no new messages. This erases the new VM indicator. But next time I power my phone down and then ...

| Software Version in LG VX4400 | 16 Nov 2003 23:22 GMT | 3 |
Does anyone have a summary of the changes in software version 08 for the VX4400? I've seen the list for software through V06, but would like to see what has been changed in 07 and 08. I've heard rumors of better signal strength (though I'm not sure that is

| What is VZW afraid of? | 16 Nov 2003 19:15 GMT | 3 |
Back in June, RCC announced new roaming agreements with AT&T and Cingular, and VZW mysteriously added Northern MN to it's coverage and RCC announced overlaying their MN network with CDMA. http://www.corporate-ir.net/ireye/ir_site.zhtml?ticker=RCCC&script=410&layout=6& item_id=426157
