I have installed my PC3220 card on a WIn2K laptop and it works fine,
but I can't get my WinXP laptop to recognize the card using the same
installer.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I've heard several people mention that select locations will be required to
support number portability by November 24th.  Does anyone know if Los
Angeles is in that list?  Is there a list on line somewhere specifying the
locations?

So if I get a National Access plan, will I be able to get connected for data
when I'm not in a National Access coverage area but am in a Verizon digital
coverage area? IOW, use 1XRTT and if that is not available, use the
Quick-2-Net?

Will a phone  (T720) originally on Alltel work on Verizon? I've heard they
will, but is there any special programming necessary to activate it on
Verizon? Being as I just bought an Alltel on ebay and plan...hope... to use
it with Verizon I've got my fingers crossed it will work!!!

A simple question about the LB VX 4400.  When it does not have a
signal (which for me in NYC is quite often, subways, etc), it says it
is looking for a network and does not display the time.  Can I change
this?  My T720 used to just say no service and list the time.

What is this and how do we get it?  We have AC family share 300/unlim
NW/250 M2M.  At least 95% of our M2M are between my husband and
myself.  Every month I have to watch the M2M, 'cause that's where we
run close.  Of course not all of the M2M calls end up billed that way.

Is America's Choice the sum of all local plans, and why does it cost
more?  It would seem to me that going anywhere in the US, so long as
you're on what would be any "local" system, wouldn't cost Verizon any
more than if you made all your calls from the exact same location

My friend recently switched his cell phone from AT&T to Cingular.
When he asked them about number portability, they said that it will
take several weeks to file/process all of the paperwork (to get the
number from AT&T).  I plan on switching from AT&T to Verizon on Nov

I am really partial to Samsung flip phones (much like the new sprint pcs
models) - I had sprint but now am loving verizon.

Verizon has the reputation for great service but one of the lower
