| Audiovox 8600 VS T730 | 05 Nov 2003 04:13 GMT | 1 |
What does everyone think of the Audiovox 8600 VS the Motorola T730? I have an audiovox 9500 and was thinking switching phones. Also What about the LG VX4400? I do not want to leave the tri-mode and go only digital class.

| government or military discount? | 05 Nov 2003 02:32 GMT | 7 |
I recently switched from Sprint PCS where I got a discount on my bill for being active duty military. I ordered online so I did not have a chance to ask about this. Does anyone know if VZW offer a discount program?

| Moved...Now No Caller ID | 05 Nov 2003 01:08 GMT | 2 |
When I moved from PA to NC using Verizon's EZ-Move service, I noticed I rarely saw anything other than "Caller Unknown" on my Motorola V60's Caller ID display. The only Caller ID's I can see now are from other Verizon customers.

| I Dropped my LG 6000 | 04 Nov 2003 23:59 GMT | 14 |
I dropped my phone on the ground today. The outside front cover got banged up. I am sick over this as I just bought the phone new three weeks ago. Does anyone know of a way to get a new outer case or will I just have to live with the dings in the phone?

| Anyone using Plantronics M120 or M130 headsets with a LG VX4400? | 04 Nov 2003 14:15 GMT | 5 |
I have a Plantronics M130 headset. It worked great with my Motorola V60i before I lost that phone. Now I have a LG VX4400, and the remote person on the phone ALWAYS complains that my volume is too low (the MIC setting is set to high).

| New Every Two Dilemma | 04 Nov 2003 13:36 GMT | 5 |
Almost three years ago, my grandfather signed a two year contract. Back then (I'm pretty sure), the monthly required plan amount for New Every Two eligibility was 29.99 or higher, and he has been on the same 29.99 plan since then. So here's unknown #1: is he now eligible for

If I have a virgin mobile slider and the MSL unlock code, how can I program the phone to work on Verizon? I could call Verizon and do an ESN swap to the new phone... But how do I get the phone to look for Verizon's network instead of

| How to send name, not state, in caller ID from mobile phone? | 04 Nov 2003 01:57 GMT | 2 |
I thought I remembered seeing an announcement in my VZW bill about a year or two ago that, when I made a call from my VZW mobile phone, my name would start appearing on the caller ID of the phone I was calling. I called my landline from my VZW mobile this morning, and the caller ...

| Verizon PDA Phone Advice Needed | 04 Nov 2003 01:44 GMT | 2 |
I'm locked into a contract with Verizon for the forseeable future and find that while I like my LG VX6000 a lot, I'd probably be much better off with a PDA phone that would let me syny my calendar and contacts both MS Outlook on my PC desktop and Apple's iSync apps on my ...

| CDMA (non-1X) spectrum decreasing? | 03 Nov 2003 22:05 GMT | 9 |
I've been noticing that my Startac 7868 is having a harder and harder time picking up a signal, and when I make calls the quality is more and more choppy. My LG4400 continues to have the same reception quality it used to. This happens in many locations that I travel to.

| Mobile phone to land line phone converter | 03 Nov 2003 18:25 GMT | 3 |
I saw or read somewhere of a device where you connect your regular land line phone to your cell phone, so you can use your land line phone and your cell phone acts as a conduit. Has anyone heard of this and if so, where can I purchase one?
