Will there be a new plan??27 Nov 2003 06:48 GMT13
In the NY area today, many of the "Other" carriers announced new
plans. Verizon has been conspicuously silent. When does the current
cycle of plans expire? Do we expect to hear soemthing competetive from
then by 11/24? If they wait until after that, many people will have
GPS on 4400B27 Nov 2003 06:08 GMT2
And now a naive question...
I know what GPS is, but why is it an option on the VX440B phone?  Is the
sole purpose for 911 to find your location, or can I obtain coordinates as
well (if so, how)?
Local Exchange Tel Number27 Nov 2003 04:08 GMT21
Does anyone have a site where I can look up what telephone exchanges would
be local for my area in NJ?  I don't thing there's any number close to my
area.
4400/6000 snow camping/backcountry27 Nov 2003 04:04 GMT7
Would the analog feature on the 4400 extend the average coverage area
significantly (at all?) over the 6000?  Obviously it won't matter if I'm
miles away from a cell tower, but I'm wondering if this should be a
selling point for me.

Compare LG VX10 to VX440026 Nov 2003 20:43 GMT2
My wife has an LG VX10. I think it is horrible. (I am used to, and prefer
Motorola V60 series.)
Why don't I like the VX10?
-ringer is cheesy song/tones, not a loud ring
My New VX 4400B Phones are Here!26 Nov 2003 16:40 GMT8
Goodbye, Cingular.  Hello Verizon!
My two VX 4400B phones just came in - they're charging now!
Thanks to all for your phone suggestions.  BTW, there was a rebate on the
phones, so the VX 6000 and 4400 were not the same price.  I would have

I looked on verizon's site and pretended to sign up and it looks like
you can ONLY sign up for PIX and TXT promos which all expire on April
1st, 2004. After that you get smacked with charges per PIX and TXT
sent.
Headsets for VX440 w/ on-off switch26 Nov 2003 04:22 GMT1
Does anyone know anything about headsets for the VX4400 which have a
button to end calls?  Is there any way to end the call without opening
the phone and pressing end?  Thanks.
LG 4400 for $99?26 Nov 2003 03:04 GMT4
On Verizon's website, under phones,  it says that you can get the 4400 for
$99.99.  However when you order  it, and go for a 1 yr. contract it then
costs you $149.  Kinda misleading huh?
