Using my laptop question21 Nov 2003 18:51 GMT1
Is it possible to get a cable to connect my laptop to my cell phone so I can
go on the internet? I do not want extra charges and would be happy with a
slower connection using my existing internet provider. If yes, where can I
get a cable? Thanks.

Calls are in analog while display shows digital?21 Nov 2003 15:03 GMT10
Lately (past week or so) I've noticed a couple of instances in which
my Startack 7868 is showing a full (or almost full) digital signal,
and yet the sound quality sounds just like analog (has a lot of

VX3100 phonebook question21 Nov 2003 07:37 GMT7
The user guide for my VX3100 phone says:  "The phone has 199 personal
phone book memory locations where you can store up to 5 phone numbers
of up to 32 digits."  The way I read this is that each of the 199
"memory locations" will accommodate 5 phone numbers for a total of 995

Now that Thumb Cellular has CDMA deployed and Verizon has fired them up on

LG310020 Nov 2003 21:20 GMT2
Just picked up a new LG3100 and not real happy with inside coverage. I
previously had a Nokia 5185i which had a popup antenna. At various places
in the house, I had to pop the antenna up to get a 2 bar rating. The 3100
does not have the popup and because of that, spotty coverage. ...

CDM-9500 Support20 Nov 2003 12:05 GMT3
I "upgraded" to a CDM-9500 phone a few months ago, now it appears you are no
longer supporting this phone as the availability of accessories seems to be
drying up.  Where can I get a MOK9500VW Mobile Office Kit?

Welcome to SaskTel Mobility20 Nov 2003 03:56 GMT2
I had heard of people who have Verizon's service near the Canadian
