Some posters on Howards Forums claiming to be VZW employees said there
were supposed to be some big announcements today 1/29 about promos,
plans and phones.  They said, for example, that  we would hear about
Verizon's plans for the future direction of PTT.

My text messages just plain stopped working. Nothing coming in via
vtext, nothing comes in when I do the #646 call, nothing when another
cell on the same plan sends a TM.

I have Verizon DSL for my home and found it so good and lo in cost I
thought I would check their Cell service.
To my suprise I found the Verizon cost about %100 higher than my
T-Mobile service for the same service level.

I had problems with the battery life of my first phone, and most people in
here suggested the phone was bad, so did LG when I called them, so I
exchanged for the same phone.  This new one seemed to be fine all day
yesterday.

I've been using my Nokia in Asia for text messaging quite a bit. Sure
is a lot easier than my Motorola 270c back here. Going to poke around
for a new phone tomorrow. Will look at the LG4500 and the V90s I

I heard that the New South Rate with the .10 minutes and .25 to connect were
going away on Feb 2nd. Anyone else heard this? If it is has anyone heard
what will they replace it with?

Has anyone had RECENT success with adding a PTT-disabled v60P to a
non-PTT account?
I read that it was possible to activate early on, but that VZW no
longer allows it.

There is a new ERI-capable PRL (50128) out today, and I was able to
download it to my V60P!  We had lost the ERI capability on the V60P
phones with the December firmware "ugrade" to our PTT phones.
I can't say what coverage differences 50128 offers over 50112/50113,

It probably doesn't matter that Verizon doesn't seem to want to
compete head to head with the other carriers instead they rely on good
customer relations. But with some of the charges they have added

I was wondering if anyone knows if verizon is slated to come out with
any new Motorola Camera Phones, I love the LG but am afraid i have
been having far too much trouble lately and wish i could switch back
to a Newer Generation Motorola

Something has happened to my charger port.  I have to push the charger
connection together and hold it there for the phone to acknowlege that the
charger is plugged in.  
Needless to say, that's less than efficient!
