Broadband Rolling Out Nationally by Verizon18 Jan 2004 02:09 GMT9
Verizon Wireless announced several days ago that they will roll out their
broadband wireless Internet access to cities throughout the country over the
coming year, with 300 to 400 speed, with bursts much higher. They've had it
in San Diego and Washington.
LG 4400 V10 firmware17 Jan 2004 23:54 GMT7
Dose it cost any thing to add the NA-MOU to your account? I have a LG 4400
and I just got the firmware upgraded from v08 to v10. The phone seems to run
a bit better.

VX4400 PIcs in My Folder17 Jan 2004 21:05 GMT1
In the Messages area under the "My Folder" there are small pics, large pics,
sounds, medlodies and animations.  What can I do with these?  Are they there
just to take-up space and amuse me when I'm bored?  I can't find any way to
use any of the pics, etc. in text messages or emails ...
Why does Verizon Outsource Call Centers17 Jan 2004 20:23 GMT9
ok, Verizon guys.  What is your opinion of the service provided by
Outsourcers.  I know they have been using Sitel and Livebridge for Call
Centers for years.  Now in the stores they use Solectron for Tech Support.
Any opinions on the above listed Outsourcers from you Verizon Guys?
National Access 1XRTT Modem17 Jan 2004 18:56 GMT4
How much is the 1XRTT cost by the min.  I have a LG 4400 and MOK.  When I go
to connect it tells me that it will cost to connect to 1XRTT.  I know the
QNC uses only min, anyone know the cost without a price plan?
Thanks

E911 Only mode?

US Coverage17 Jan 2004 04:28 GMT13
There have been a lot of questions regarding which cities have good
coverage...Which cities have the worst coverage.

4400 SMS Send Failure17 Jan 2004 02:33 GMT4
My gf has a 4400 and lately when she tries to send an SMS it fails and an
error message appears saying something like: "General failure, please try

can be corrected.  Thanks in advance.

Verizon Paging Interface16 Jan 2004 08:57 GMT24
Does Verizon have a phone number that you can dial with a modem in order to
send pages to cell phones?  I need the ability to receive text messages from
my network monitoring server at work in the event that our Internet
connection goes down.  For this reason sending email will not ...
Kyocera 603516 Jan 2004 06:27 GMT9
I'm going to show my ignorance here -- I'm very interested in buying a
Kyocera 6035.  It looks like the device I've been looking for a long time.
In researching my purchase, I've had several people tell me that I can get
the "Sprint Kyocera 6035" or the "Verizon Kyocera 6035".

Samsung SPH-i700 Availability16 Jan 2004 02:38 GMT1
Anybody know why, now that I'm ready to buy the Samsung pocket pc
phone, I can't find one (I'm in the DC area).  Verizon (both customer
care and telesales) say it's "on hold" and that there are none in the
wearhouses.  Seems strange to me.
