Extended Nighttime Hours12 Jan 2004 04:16 GMT19
According to an ad in todays Wall Street Journal, Sprint has decided
to match T Mobil's new marketing plan of extending nights by 2-hours
(7PM to 6AM).
Wonder if/when Verizon will offer similar plan?
Internet Via Cell Phone12 Jan 2004 04:15 GMT11
We are about to purchase an LG VX6000 with a local plan. Will be be able to
connect to the internet using a cable from our desktop or laptop as we have
heard? What do we need to buy to do this. Can we do it with a local plan or
does it require an America's Choice plan? Any help ...
VX 6000 Download to PC?12 Jan 2004 03:43 GMT3
Can you download pictures taken with the LG VX 6000 to a PC with a data
cable?  Or do you have to use Get It Now?
Thanks,
Call forward to home phone12 Jan 2004 03:27 GMT2
I heard that Cingular has a new feature where you can put your cell phone in
a special cradle at home and incoming cell calls are call forwarded to your
home phone. You talk on the landline- any extension in your house- without
using any cell minutes.
Kyocera 713511 Jan 2004 20:28 GMT2
I called my local Verizon store and asked if they had a new battery for my
phone (7135).  I specifically asked for a newly designed battery, since I
understood that the phone was off their website until a new battery was
available.  The sales rep said that the phones where off the ...
Nokia 3589i modem speed?11 Jan 2004 20:13 GMT14
I am considering the purchase of a Nokia 3589i and the DKU-5 cable to
connect to my laptop running WinXP.  If I use the modem in the Nokia to dial
in to my regular ISP, what type of data speeds can I expect?
PDA Phones.11 Jan 2004 19:11 GMT5
Had a quick question for any of you PDA phone users out there.  My dad
is a current Verizon customer with a ST7868 phone with an AC plan.  He
currently has a Handsrping Visor PDA.  He is looking to combine both units
into a phone/PDA combo.  How are Verizon's PDA phones?   He is ...
Please help!!  Need an quick answer for Audiovox CDM8600!11 Jan 2004 18:42 GMT2
I just have a quick question about Audiovox's
phonebook search function.
Is the phonebook search function similar to Motorola's?
When searching phonebook entry in Motorola's phones, you simply
free-up and QNC11 Jan 2004 18:35 GMT1
Can someone tell me if the "Quick Net" facility is available on
Free-Up phones. I do not mean the technical/cable issues..... just if
Verizon allows use of QNC when the phone is billed as Free-Up.
Thanks
my take on vx600011 Jan 2004 08:43 GMT8
I have been using cell phones since 1992.  I have lived in areas around the
east coast since then.  Due to my many moves I have had to go with many
different cell companies (before all merged into only 4 main companies).
The vx6000 is the best phone I have ever owned.  The only ...
Verizon Phone with Sidetone11 Jan 2004 05:51 GMT6
Does anybody know of a current model Verizon compatible cell phone with
sidetone (you can hear yourself in the receiver)?
If not, what is the best, most recent Verizon phone that has it?
Thanks!
ringtones search and creation10 Jan 2004 19:49 GMT1
How do you make and transfer ringtones for an LGVX6000.  One of the
very few bonuses of having a Nokia was the Composer prog.  I had an
awesome telegraph setup.
V60 or LG 440010 Jan 2004 16:52 GMT17
I currently have AT&T and plan on switching to Verizon this week. I
currently use a V60 (about two years old) and I am not happy with the
reception or the earpiece volume. I think most of the problem with the
recption is ATT and not the phone,
1000 National vs. Unlimited Share-plan M2M10 Jan 2004 08:59 GMT8
I just called CS for an unrelated reason and found out that although I
thought I had the 1000 National Mobile to Mobile *and* the unlimited M2M
between the two phones on my account, I only had the 1000 national minutes.
Apparently I can't get both.
Switch to Verizon? Los Angeles Coverage...10 Jan 2004 08:30 GMT5
Currently using AT&T (for 11 years) but have seen a REMARKABLE drop in
customer service (oxymoron when dealing with AT&T) and find the new GSM
phone to be intolerable. Repeated calls to Customer Service results in a
big fat "NOTHING". I've filed a BBB complaint (what the heck) but ...
