VX4400 and *8630 Jan 2004 12:10 GMT5
I just got the LG VX4400B in addition to my VX4400 that I had for about 6
months.
I programmed both to have the voice mail number of my phone number rather
then the *86.  I used the Menu+3+7* to change it.
V810 Reason For Verizon Delay30 Jan 2004 05:02 GMT1
This is from the Wall Street Journal on 1-28-2004:
Motorola Inc.'s problems getting camera phones into the market in a timely
manner have been widely reported. The world's No. 2 cellphone maker missed
virtually the entire U.S. holiday shopping season with new phones that
LG VX 6000 vs. AUDIOVOX CDM 890030 Jan 2004 01:22 GMT2
I was very close to getting an LG 6000, and I can probably
live without the analog capability, but now that Verizon is
carrying the Audiovox 8900, I'm waiting to hear more
"reports from the field" about the quality and usability.
Samsung A310 in Myrtle Beach.. Digital, then Analog!29 Jan 2004 22:17 GMT17
I'm in Myrtle Beach SC on the extended network here. In my hotel I get a
full strength digital signal but it's constantly switching to Analog with
only one bar. Why would it do that if the digital signal is so much
stronger?
Analog Service?29 Jan 2004 20:47 GMT2
What areas of Florida still have analog service?  The map that they give out
isn't worth much.
Thanks
Bumper Sticker29 Jan 2004 19:48 GMT25
Anyone with a source for the bumper sticker I saw last week that said,
"Hang Up and Drive?" I asked the local Verizon store and they seemed to
fail to see the humor I did.
port from Sprint29 Jan 2004 14:36 GMT11
I know there is info in the archives on this but I don't know how to access
them. Let me know and I'll check there, if not, I just contacted VZ and they
told me my wife couldn't port her Sprint # until May... any truth to this ?
       Thanks from central Illinois..

Any problem using non-Motorola batteries and chargers?29 Jan 2004 05:19 GMT23
Just noticed, in my manual for the Motorola T730, they suggest that using
anything other than a Motorola battery or charger may damage the phone.  Is
this just a scare tactic to sell Motorola products?  I just order a 1000 mah
battery and a charger from factorydirectcellular that ...
Help! Motorola Phone & Awful Company--Verizon29 Jan 2004 04:57 GMT11
A year ago, I purchased what was then an expensive cell phone, depending on the
advice of the salesman at a Verizon store.  I purchased it at the last minute;
had ot put down a rather large deposit; and signed a bunch of things that I had
no time to read.

V60S no longer available?29 Jan 2004 02:18 GMT11
I just went back to the verizon site to finally upgrade my v120c to the V60S
that was there for 19.99 a couple weeks ago.  Gone, for any price.
Emailed verizon, they said it was no longer available.
What gives?  Is there a chance it might come back?  Does availability change
No More EN/NA MOU?28 Jan 2004 23:07 GMT13
I've just been reading several posts at howardforums.com where people have
been claiming that their latest bills have been showing per KB charges for
using EN/NA when they thought that they had the minutes of use option.  The
posters claim that Verizon told them that MOU only ...

Thanks in advance.
True SMS with Verizon28 Jan 2004 22:12 GMT5
Is true SMS available with some Verizon phones?  True SMS, to me, means I
can text message to anyone in the world with an SMS capable phone.  My
brother in Los Angeles is with Cingular there and he sends/receives text
messages to/from Asia.
