Solicitation calls on cell phones20 Jan 2004 04:36 GMT21
I keep receiving solicitation calls on my cell for some loan scam.
It's an automated machine.  I left a message to remove my number
months ago but I still get the call around two times a month.
I finally left my name and said I was interested in the loan.  They

No SMTP functionality on Express Network?!!!20 Jan 2004 03:17 GMT13
I spent about an hour this afternoon with Verizon tech support just to find
out that the only way I can use SMTP is to drop down to the Q2N network and
use mail.airbridge.com as my SMTP relay. I can't even get to authenticated
SMTP servers; it seems as if Verizon, like may other ...

I am having problems with Verizon phones not ringing even when I am in a
digital zones with a strong signal.  It is not consistent.  Sometimes I get

I'm new. I just want to check my email using wap.
I don't want to risk messing up any of my phones functionality.
Just want to be able to read email and not be charged extra.
There is so much information out there, it's overwhelming.

Hands Free on Verizon?19 Jan 2004 22:22 GMT12
Verizon has no bluetooth enabled phone, instead relying on
voice-activated phones and wired headsets.  What is actual experience
with this for reliable hands free phone dialing and receiving?  Has
anyone grafted a third-party bluetooth headset to a Verizon phone?
Why can't the phonebook app for LG6000 store addresses?19 Jan 2004 21:55 GMT13
This has to be the stupidest thing in the world. If i want to store a number
don't I also want to store an address?
Now when I'm meeting people I have to put their address in a seperate
notepad note in the phone. This is absolutely retarded.

Radio Shack and Verizon.  What's the truth?19 Jan 2004 18:51 GMT8
OK, so I'm eligible for a New Every Two upgrade.  I thought I couldn't get this
at Radio Shack.  When I was there the other day "Daniel" said I was wrong.
They do process them in the Radio Shack, they just can't give you the credit
immediately, it would appear on the bill.  I SAW ...
