LG VX600013 Feb 2004 15:39 GMT4
Stupid, but easy question:
I have the LG VX6000.  Is there a way, when I have a missed call, to
either have it beep or have something stay on the display?  Right now
it shuts off after X minutes...and I have no visual indicators to tell
It's a matter of choice13 Feb 2004 14:24 GMT3
I have been to my local Verizon Wireless store earlier this evening...
...tomorrow, I will make a decision on which phone I will buy, I am using a
vacation day, so I must not procrastinate this.
My current choices so far:
Availability of V60 other than V60p?13 Feb 2004 12:12 GMT3
I was in a VZW store today. Jam packed full of people.
I saw the V60p on display. Had a notice that it was ONLY available for
those on a PTT plan.
Does VZW still offer a non-PPT V60? I've heard about a V60s, but
LG VX4500 questions...13 Feb 2004 07:10 GMT3
What exactly is "Driving Mode"?  What does it do?  Also, under
Settings/Location, it has options for "Location On" and "E911 Only".
What does this do?
Thanks for any help.  The manual isn't worth much...
Good Customer Service13 Feb 2004 05:30 GMT3
My phone is going off warranty later this week and has been having an
intermittent problem with the charging circuit for a while now. So I take it
to the VZW store-- ready for a hassle and prepared to go through a lengthy
explanation about a problem I just know I won't be able to ...

V60s or VX-44013 Feb 2004 03:09 GMT20
I'm eligible for a new phone.  V60s has again appeared in ATL market.
I like the 4400 but want opinions as to a "better" phone.  I don't
need color/camera/voice recording capability.  I just need to make
calls and have an efficient phone book.  As a bonus, able to connect
Is a Verizon tri mode phone usable in the Bahamas?13 Feb 2004 02:23 GMT2
Or do I have to pack my hf rig?

Ring tones. How create and install on phone?  LG phones Lg 4500, how create ringtone?13 Feb 2004 01:17 GMT2
I have a few MIDI and WAV files and such. I think we are out of luck
on the WAV side of course, however is there a way to convert a MIDI
file for use on my LG 4500 without my buying the data kit? Not being
cheap..be happy to pay someone to convert a few for me. Or perhaps
Verizon Retention13 Feb 2004 00:10 GMT8
My contract is due to expire soon.

Speaker phone w digital only selection?12 Feb 2004 22:49 GMT2
I just picked up the LG VX4500 phone and I do like it.  I am concerned
that the digital only phone maybe a problem when I travel.  Looking
for suggestions on other phones like this.  Main features I want are a
speaker phone and the ability to select digital only mode.  I keep the
NAMP's - Is it being used anymore?12 Feb 2004 17:30 GMT1
I have an NAMP's phone ( precursor to digital, Narrow band AMPS=NAMPS, as
far as trying to get more users into an analog channel, 3 to be exact ).
Just wondering if there are any Nap's Cell Site radios still around.
Just curious more than anything else.  :-)

Did the temperature there drop below 55 and put them into hibernation? Or

It's back on the website for Pittsburgh but the price
has gone from $50 to $200.  Quite a big jump!
