| Voice Message Service - Short Cut? | 09 Feb 2004 21:46 GMT | 8 |
I would like to be able to get to my "voice messages" easily. Right now, you dial the number and it asks you to enter your mailbox (phone number) and then your password. Is there someway to shorten that process? Oh yea, I'm using my verizon cell phone to access.

Too all experts and those with experince I have tri-mode phone but live in a good digital service area and know Verizon is great for digital. If I force my phone to only go into cdma digital this means I can never incur roaming charges right if I go somewhere else. I

| Using a PDA/Smartphone with free minutes | 09 Feb 2004 06:10 GMT | 5 |
Are the free minutes on a Local DigitalChoice Family SharePlan applicable for both voice and data (email, web, wireless sync) on a PDA/Smartphone? I guess not, because when I start to sign up for the above plan, an option called "PDS/Smartphone Unlimited" is available

| Any improvements in NE PA coverage? | 09 Feb 2004 04:09 GMT | 5 |
I know this is a recurring topic (but what isn't in these forums?) but I wondered if anyone has recently noticed improvements in coverage in NE PA, particularly in Pike and Wayne counties. I read in the local paper two new cell tower sites have been approved

| PTT for $5?? | 09 Feb 2004 02:08 GMT | 1 |
Alltell just launched thier version of PTT, and it only cost $5 more and you can add it to ANY plan, not just a very limited selection of plans. Now if only all of the PTT carriers, Nextel, Verizon, Sprint, and Alltell could figure out a way to get their PTTs compatible with each ...

| Northern Maine is Gone? | 09 Feb 2004 00:15 GMT | 14 |
As someone pointed out here earlier, it does appear (if I'm reading the PRL 50128/50143 interpretations right) that VZW has removed all carriers providing any roaming in northern Maine. U.S. Cellular D/A SIDs out of Bangor and Skowhegan were dropped all

| Anyone try the Samsung? | 08 Feb 2004 22:22 GMT | 1 |
I am reading the Verizon Wireless website and see this ultra-expensive cell phone for a whopping $499.99, known as the Samsung SCH-i600 with incredible battery life, all this software running Microsoft Windows. What is this thing? It has so much in there, it's like a pocket PC.

I have a v60p (which is a tri-mode phone) and have an opportunity to swap it for a new v60s to use on a non-PTT plan with Verizon, but I want to confirm that the v60s is a tri-mode and not a digital-only phone.

| "Urgency" Use Cellular Services | 08 Feb 2004 06:56 GMT | 48 |
Right now my wife has Verizon analog service that gives her no free minutes for $16/month. Day minutes are aboyt 35 cents and evening, about 16. She uses the phone for outgoing calls only, for specific "informational" calls and for emergencies (such as calling AAA!) and
