| Mobile Web uses 1x on 2325? | 21 Feb 2004 04:11 GMT | 3 |
I just set myself up on the mywaplink.com WAP gateway to avoid the monthly Mobile Web charges and have noticed that web browsing is considerably quicker than it was previously. Does WAP use 1x on the Kyocera 2325, or is mywaplink's gateway just a lot less busy than Verizon's own?

| Samsung A310 ringtones? | 21 Feb 2004 01:07 GMT | 1 |
Is it possible to download ringtones for this phone? The built in ones are pretty bad. Also is it possible to get software updates for it? If so, how do you get these things onto the phone? Does it cost money?

| Verizon 2-Year Agreement Misleading?? | 20 Feb 2004 21:18 GMT | 5 |
Well, I've found out the hard way that entering into a 2 year agreement with Verizon can be extended if you do certain things. I started in April of 2002 with my phone, 5 months later we dropped Alltel on my wife's phone and gave Verizon our business. Then in December of 2002, we ...

| Mobile Web Advice on LG VX4500 | 20 Feb 2004 20:55 GMT | 3 |
I would like to "retire" my IPAQ, which I only use for calendaring, and use the free Yahoo online calender with my LG VX4500 on VZW (on an America's Choice plan) via Mobile Web if that is possible. I have never used Mobile Web on VZW, so I don't know if I could access

| When I'm traveling, when does "night" begin/end? | 20 Feb 2004 01:29 GMT | 12 |
I live in Virginia, and "night" is 9 pm to 7 am. But, what about when I'm in a different time zone, while traveling (assuming I'm on Verizon's network)? Is "night" still relative to my home time zone, or the time zone I'm visiting?

| Using old Nokia phone on Verizon | 20 Feb 2004 00:41 GMT | 6 |
I currently am with AT&T but I will be switching to Verizon. I don't have any problems with my current phone, Nokia 3360, and I am wondering if I could use this phone with Verizon? If not why not. Does Verizon have any phones with Bluetooth capabilities?

| verizon plans - why all these charges | 20 Feb 2004 00:39 GMT | 1 |
I'm considering signing up with verizon and I'm looking at their local plans. They've got these additional charges on top of the monthly fee: $5 for long distance, $2 for voice mail. Voice mail is such a basic service on a cell phone, why on earth would they try to charge for it.

| NO PRL-How will my phone behave? | 20 Feb 2004 00:13 GMT | 1 |
I am not on America's Choice, so I don't have to worry about roaming as long as I am within 500 miles from home. I was fooling around with an older phone I have, and one of the programming options was "PRL Status". When I changed it from "1" to "0",
