Which phone has the best reception?16 Feb 2004 12:01 GMT10
I'd like to upgrade to a new phone and stay with Verizon.  I'll use it
in and around San Jose, CA if it matters.
I tried the Motorola T730 for a week but I returned it.  In two locations,
it failed to maintain a usable connection.  In these two locations, my
Verizon TXT SW Upgrade?????16 Feb 2004 08:04 GMT11
Verizon just sent my phone a text message suggesting that I do a *228 2 to
receive upgraded TXT message software for my phone.
Now I may have fallen off the turnip truck, but all *228 2 does is update the
PRL. That's hardly a software upgrade and only vaguely related to TXT ...
Belkin F8V7057 with VX4400B?16 Feb 2004 08:04 GMT1
Has anyone used Belkin's car charger with the VX4400B? Belkin's web site
claims that it works. LG's website claims that using anything other than
their $30 charger will make the phone explode, and will void the warranty
(not quite their exact wording... but you get the picture).
Another voice mail/charged minutes question16 Feb 2004 06:05 GMT6
Alright, we're pretty much of the assumption that checking your voice
mail from your own phone, no matter if you dial the number or *86 will
be billed.  But what about when someone calls you and leaves a voice
mail?? Is that charged against your minutes also??  I know Verizon
Speakerphone Quality of LG VX4500?15 Feb 2004 23:47 GMT6
I have a moto V60p but need to buy a non-PTT phone to use on a non-PTT
Verizon America's Choice plan.
I'm addicted to the speakerphone on the Moto V60p and love the quality
of its sound, so I'm having trouble choosing a new phone.  I have
Motorola T720 vs T73015 Feb 2004 23:01 GMT12
What is the difference between these two models? Both are
available from the Verizon website with the T730 net cost $20 more.

Sierra Wireless15 Feb 2004 18:27 GMT3
Can I use the Sierra WirelessAircard 555 with my NA-MOU plan?  Or, do I need
to have the full blown data plan for that?

VX6K question15 Feb 2004 18:08 GMT1
Hi, whenever I have my phone in 'normal ring mode' and the volume on medium
and someone sends me a text msg, it vibrates.  I have the default text msg
alert sound set to ring 2 I think.  What is causing it to vibrate?
Thanks.
LG 4500 volume keys15 Feb 2004 15:56 GMT12
When I adjust the volume with the side keys for the ringer, speaker or
earpiece I have to also press the "ok" button afterwards for it to hold the
setting. Seems like you should just be able to hit the volume up or down and
thats it?
VZW Coverage in Ashville, NC Area?15 Feb 2004 07:22 GMT5
Can anyone tell me how the VZW coverage is in the Ashville, NC area?
Does VZW use mostly native network with digital there?  Extended
network with parters?  Analog?
Is there a better service than VZW for that area?
