What is the best cell phone Verizon offers to get online? I currently have a LG4400 and it seems pretty good, but SnapSync & BitPim are a little primitive. Are there any other options out there that I haven't seen. Thanks,

| Using Nokia 3589i as FAX modem | 31 Mar 2004 06:05 GMT | 5 |
I use my 3589i as a data modem (with the DKU-5 cable) with my Windows XP laptop. I usually use Verizon's 3G network, but as a test I have connected using the data/fax modem driver to my ISP and that works fine.

What are some of the phones with good camera features? One that can take some good shots in a car accident would be good. A link to some of the pictures taken would be best to make my judgement.

It's on the VZW web site now - I know some in this newsgroup have seen the mockup but I was wondering if anyone has yet found an actual functioning model in a store and either played with it or bought it.

| Cell instead of regular phone line? | 30 Mar 2004 23:09 GMT | 47 |
Just curious on this I've been wondering about. I currently pay almost $30 a month from Verizon for a regular line plus long distance of about $3-5 a month from AT&T. I make very little calls (I do lots of emailing) and have a cable modem for my internet service. I'd say

I have to read my e-mail several times a day. Sometimes it contains 2 Meg PDF files. I am trying to find the smallest portable way to do this. Should I use an Aid-Card in a laptop? I believe the blackbery is just text, so that is out. Use my Verizon cell as the modem for a ...
