Hello ...
Could someone tell me whether it is important that a cell phone be
both analog and digital?  Does it matter if it has both?
Many thanks for any information.
Clearing Memory of Motorola 786814 Mar 2004 14:42 GMT2
I recently just switched phones and am going to sell my Motorola 7868.  How
do I clear my phone number out of the memory?  I was able to clear the
memory and phone book, and reset the master setting, but my phone number
still appears in the display.  Any suggestions?
Express Network Question14 Mar 2004 06:29 GMT1
I currently have a local plan with the MOU option for the Express Network
(if that's what they are still calling it).
Anyway, I plan on taking a trip well outside of my "home" coverage area (but
will be in a Verizon service area). If I use my phone to connect up to the
LG VX-4500 voice recognition14 Mar 2004 05:21 GMT6
I got the vx4500 and love it, except for one major problem: the voice
recognition system. Being user independent, I like the idea that it can use
your voice to find anyone in your directory. The problem is that it doesn't
recognize my voice, or my wife's voice (we both have ...

LG600013 Mar 2004 14:02 GMT2
On the Verizon web site & in the Verizon stores, this phone is listed at
$149.00 with a $50 rebate.  I was just at a Circuit City store and they had the
same phone listed at $149.00 with a $150.00 rebate.  Big difference
Can I copy a GeItNow game from phone to phone?13 Mar 2004 06:28 GMT1
I have a VX4400 and just purchased a Tetris game by choosing the
"Unlimited use" option. Question: can I copy this game to another
VX4400 via a USB cable, computer and BitPim software?
Analog on Thumb Cellular???13 Mar 2004 05:46 GMT5
Thumb Cellular (sid 1350) is CDMA now and finally included in Verizon's
America's Choice plan. What I want to know is why on earth does my phone
decide that it should go into analog mode for no reason what so ever? I'm
right across the street from the tower. I'm getting an excellent ...

Local non-emergency police number13 Mar 2004 00:26 GMT7
Is there a simple number to call that will allow me to reach the local
police for a non-emergency?  Similar to 911, but for non-emergencies?
I just recently used "411 connect" to accomplish this, in an effort to
report a road hazard - a dead deer in the road, with no damaged car in

i'd like one cable that does everything for when i'm traveling with my
laptop.  it'd thought i read somewhere that the 7135 draws more
current than can be supplied through usb, hence there can be no usb
charge cable.  is that true?
