These phones are no longer on Verizon's web-site, at least in my area (So. California) but now they can be ordered at Radio Shack. Just picked it up today and paid $99 with 2 yr. contract extension. Sandy

I got the Futuredial cable, downloaded and ran the driver installer for my VX4400, and installed the cable. Set up a 56k standard modem on my computer with the modem init string of AT$QCMDR=3. Set up a new dial-up connection with my 909XXXXXXX@vzw3g.com, dialing #777, p/w vzw.

I'm planning on switching from Sprint PCS to Verizon Wireless. I walked into a Verizon Wireless store and was surprised when the salesperson told me that none of their phones have a standby time of more than 3 - 4 days. He recommended the LG VX4500.

I just had my phone repaired, a V60i. I noticed now that in some areas it does not have the Verizon Wireless banner and shows a pyramid indicator in some other areas. I checked the PRL and it shows 50111. I am on an Americas Choice plan. Customer care says I should go back to
