I've been looking around for a different carrier than Sprint, and am having trouble figuring out whether Verizon supports 3G or 2.5G.. Spring makes a big deal about their "Vision" plans, but there seems to be no similarly branded service discernable on Verizon's website. Yet

| Week Signal Area | 04 Mar 2004 15:32 GMT | 4 |
I have a VX10 and frequently find myself in a specific area with very week signals. Sometimes I get 1 bar analog, sometimes 1 bar digital, sometimes I find the Roaming light blinking and 5 bars digital - unfortunately this does not happen very often! I think that this may be ...

Here is a brief summary of press releases for 2003. Besides some of the conflicting numbers for the same locations, where's the rest of the $4 billion spent last year? Surprise, surprise, they still haven't spent a dime in MN, at least

| Free calls to Canada only on VZW? | 04 Mar 2004 02:15 GMT | 5 |
I'm in the NY/NJ market and have enjoyed calls to Canada at no extra charge ever since I've had the America's Choice plan. I'm half thinking of switching to another carrier just to get more minutes for the same price (specifically thinking of ATTWS). I'm wondering if

| v60p+gomadic cable+computer=??? | 04 Mar 2004 01:05 GMT | 8 |
Okay, I don't know why I haven't tried this earlier, but I'm having trouble using the express network (as in MOU, 1X) with my computer. I have the gomadic cable which has a serial connection so I realize I won't ever get to 144, but that's okay. I *can* install the 'modem' as a 19 ...

Does anyone here know of a source for determining which telephone exchanges are associated with specific carriers? For example, in Virginia, 703-625 and 703-980 appear to be used by AT&T. 703-244 and 757-813 are associated with Verizon.
