Activate Sprint phone on Verizon25 Mar 2004 04:25 GMT13
A better title is that the "Dr fails to" activate Sprint phone on Verizon.
I've been looking for the opportunity to test that this can be done, and
failed.  If I've done something amiss, would appreciate some help.

Bluetooth...NOT in this lifetime24 Mar 2004 20:19 GMT2
While on the phone with Verizon on an unrelated matter I casually mentioned
that I was hesitant to renew any commitment because there were no phones

looking for I told her I wanted Bluetooth so we could use ...

One of the VX4400's built-in ring tones is a snippet of a piece they call
"Nocturne". Can anyone tell me the full title & composer?
VX6000 question24 Mar 2004 15:53 GMT2
One reason I gave up my old VX4400 phone is this: if I received a text
message and didn't notice it, there was no way to have the phone keep
reminding me occasionally that there was an unread message. Basically,
it would beep or vibrate once and that was it. The display said ...

I just started playing with the Mobile Office connection with my laptop.
Installed and working fine (Win2K/Audiovox CDM8600).  The first time I
connected to the 1X-RTT network, the program pops up a window saying if I
wasn't on a Verizon data plan, I would pay separate data usage.  ...

This successor to the popular VX-6000 camera phone adds a flash, lens
cover, and analog roaming. Key features include a VGA camera, voice
dialing, voice memo, and 32-chord polyphonic ringtones.
LG 4400 and missing messages24 Mar 2004 03:36 GMT4
For the last few days, every morning when I power on the phone, it shows
a missed call or a voice message. Yet when I dial up my voice mail, it
tells me there are no messages - even though the message icon is there
all day long.

I-93 in New Hampshire23 Mar 2004 20:17 GMT4
I have a Verizon cell phone with nationwide calling.  Although their
coverage map shows all of NH, I get a solid roaming signal from just
north of Meredith until Saint Johnsbury, Vermont.
Is this correct?
Time to port in Sacramento23 Mar 2004 18:14 GMT1
If anyone's still keeping track, the port of my number from ATTWS to VZW
took from 9:30am to 5:00pm.
I was surprised to see that they submit the request by fax rather than
computer.
