| Port from Cingular | 29 Apr 2004 16:11 GMT | 6 |
I am getting ready to port from Cingular to Verizon. My contract is expired, so no problem there. Has anyone else done this? Could you advise on the time it took, any problems or if Cingular charged anything on the final bill for the porting. Thank you

| Advice, Please... coming to end of 2-yr plan, re-up? | 29 Apr 2004 12:32 GMT | 15 |
After reading the well informed people who hang out here, it occurs to me you're a lot better informed than I. I've been a Verizon customer for, I guess, about 10 years or so? Anyway, I've never really done the math. Is it really better to do the 2-yr deal and lock yourself in or ...

| Questions about Verizon Plans | 29 Apr 2004 11:32 GMT | 1 |
I'm a little spoiled. I have 7 PM N&W, First incoming minutes free, and big buckets of minutes with Sprint for few $$$'s .... but the coverage and service is sporadic. I have need for service in Santa Barbara & LA, NYC (Manhattan / Long Island), Chicago to Milwaukee, and all of ...

| Kyocera SE47 "slide" phone | 29 Apr 2004 06:56 GMT | 7 |
Any reviews on this phone? I'm really trying to find out how big the address book is. The verizon site doesn't say. In a unrelated question: When I'm at a relative's house, the verizon signal sucks or isn't there at all, but their nextel signal is great.

| Motorolas??? | 28 Apr 2004 18:29 GMT | 1 |
So I see that Verizon has removed the T730 from the website. Anyone know what is going to replace it? The M600 or M400 that I've heard so much about? What sucks is I just got a T730 in January. The good thing is I still have my New Every Two promotion to cash in on so I guess if ...

| Express Network with America's Choice | 28 Apr 2004 17:12 GMT | 30 |
As I mentioned earlier, I asked a sales person at the store whether I would be able to access the express network with my America's Choice Family Plan using only my airtime as my only charge. He said yes and all I need is a data cable to do so.

| Charging vs. non-charging USB cable for VX6000 | 28 Apr 2004 08:23 GMT | 12 |
With a USB cable and BitPim I can transfer my Palm or Outlook Address Book to my LG VX6000 right? Address book transfers go both ways? I see a lot of talk about backing up the phone address book, but not that much about going the opposite direction loading a PC's address book onto ...

| No phones still!!!! | 28 Apr 2004 07:01 GMT | 19 |
I just had to take a look. Not being a Verizon customer (a very happy one now) Verizon still has the worst phone line-up there possibly is for such a "great" and "fantastic" wireless phone company. They're almost in the dark ages with the lineup they have. My god man, how do you ...

| Question about extended Network and MOU | 28 Apr 2004 06:29 GMT | 7 |
This is the first time I've taken my Verizon cell with me on a road trip and I'm a bit disappointed. As soon as I left the Baltimore area, my phone showed "extended network" all the way to Cleveland (almost Cleveland anyway) and back. I tried several times to connect to the Web ...

This is a tough one so I am hoping some of the seasoned veterans can help me with this issue. RCC Cellular/Unicel aka Cellular 2000 has completed their CDMA overlay (SID 1267) in my state of Minnesota. When traveling north from St.

| Postings prior to 4/22/04 | 28 Apr 2004 04:07 GMT | 5 |
Just began to subscribe to this newsgroup on 4/24, and my reader (Outlook Express) only finds about 350 messages with none before 4/22/04. When I choose "Tools/Get Next 1000 Headers" from the drop down menu, nothing happens. In contrast with another newsgroup it keeps adding older ...

| Family share question. | 27 Apr 2004 18:59 GMT | 2 |
I have had a single line of verizon service for over a year now with a two year contract that has been extended a few times due to changing my plan and taking a current promotion. So in actuality I probably have about 18mos left. I am thinking about adding a second family

| Quick2Net vs. EN-MOU and Extended Network | 27 Apr 2004 12:44 GMT | 7 |
I just spent 2 hours on the phone with Verizon only to arrive at this absurd conclusion: If I want to use my laptop and/or PDA wirelessly, I have to pay $80 a month for unlimited Express Network access plus $35 for a lousy 150 minutes of

| That Time of Year... Verizon's Kyocera SE47 Slider Phone | 27 Apr 2004 07:03 GMT | 13 |
Welp, I was due for an upgrade, and per Verizon I had a hundred dollar credit so I went in and snagged an SE47 for free (okay, so I sold my soul to them for another 2 years to get it). With my old QCP3035, if I was running low on battery, all I had to do
