Verizon spyware noptify26 Apr 2004 05:22 GMT8
I have posted a review of a recent telephone conversation with
a representative of Verizon Wireless' President Dennis Strigl.
It summarizes Verizon's concerns about the CD-ROM tracking
software, "noptify".

PDA w/ BlueTooth or PDA Phone25 Apr 2004 23:34 GMT1
I have been anxiously awaiting, as many others have, for Verizon to come
out with the TREO 600 or TREO 610 (as leaked this past weekend). After
hearing that Verizon will limit which applications can be installed on
these devices by the use of a Verizon digital signature, I ...
Verizon wireless webpage question25 Apr 2004 21:31 GMT14
Is there any way to figure out how many minutes I used?
When I look it up on the verizon wireless webpage I can see peak minutes but
that includes other things like mobile-to-mobile calls which don't count.
Nokia 3589i or Startac 7868 - Better Reception?25 Apr 2004 20:23 GMT4
Currently have a 3-year old Startac 7868 with the display starting to
fade out, and considering upgrading to a new phone.  The office which
moved months ago has weak reception on my Startac - sometime one
digital bar, sometimes one analog bar, sometimes searching for signal
Audiovox CDM-9900 for Verizon?25 Apr 2004 19:49 GMT2
I've seen on the web and in local advertising that Verizon is offering
a two for the price of one (with 2-year contract) Audiovox CDM-8900
camera phone offer.   If Verizon is doing a promotion like that could
that mean that the Audiovox CDM-9900 could be out soon?
Traveling25 Apr 2004 19:05 GMT2
I am planning a trip sometime soon to Chicago and I have the SingleRate
Northeast plan.
If I happen to use my cell phone in Chicago, how much would it cost per
minute?
Question about tri-mode VX450025 Apr 2004 15:31 GMT6
I am now using a Kyocera 3035 on VW.  Analog service is important to
me as in some areas I venture, that is all you can get.
I am eligible for the "new every two" in a couple of months, and am
checking out what VW offers.  It certainly looks like VW, from their
Echo in T73025 Apr 2004 08:41 GMT3

Ever call a Nextell user....... ? 25 Apr 2004 05:52 GMT11
Neighbors have Nextell and when you go to call them it says please wait
while we locate the nextell customer. What in the world is that? You wait a
few moments and then it connects either to their voicemail or rings. I find
that strange. Now i do like the ptt feature but with the in ...
It sucks that you can't answer the LG6000 when it is closed!25 Apr 2004 03:53 GMT3
I know the phone has the auto answer function, but with all the
technology built in this phone, why doesn't the "any key" setting on
answer setup let you use the outside keys? It would be much easier and
safer when using a headset. Flipping a phone open is distracting, and
