What should I do?12 May 2004 16:11 GMT5
No, this is not a rant or spam. Just asking for some advice.
Prior to leaving on a Mexican Riviera cruise 4/25 (Great cruise, but that's
another story) I called Verizon customer service to see if my LG4400 would
be able to receive/make calls in Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto
Emergency Mode Question12 May 2004 04:26 GMT7
Some background...
As I understand it "emergency mode" allows the phone to bypass the
usuall PRL list and connect with any available compatible service
provider. With my Audiovox 9500 handset, the setting allows any three
REQ: How Can We Backup the i600?12 May 2004 03:48 GMT3
Having had the incredible frustration of data corruption in the i600
and the unbelieveable amount of time needed to reinstall every single
application due to the i600s desire to initialize the registry on its
own accord, is there any way to:
all phones out of stock?11 May 2004 19:20 GMT2
Was on the verizon wireless web site tonight looking at phones and saw that 16 out of 22 of their
phones were out of stock.  That doesn't sound good.
Does anyone have the extended text messaging?  The FAQ on the site sucked.

Manhattan service deteriorating rapidly?11 May 2004 17:30 GMT4
I've had my VX4400 checked out twice now. It's about one year old. Once
they upgraded the firmware.  Next the "fixed" a problem they said they
found around inappropriate swtiching from digital to analog.
All of this supposedly "fixed" my recent experiences in Manhattan,
Forcing StarTac to roam from Verizon to SPCS11 May 2004 09:40 GMT16
I'm a Verizon customer in Kansas City, and am very pleased with their
coverage except for a 20 mile portion of I-70 I drive daily.  I've
been doing some research on forcing my StarTac to roam to Sprint PCS,
which has good coverage in this area, but can't get it to work.
Moto T730 - How is it?11 May 2004 07:35 GMT9
I'm porting my wife from AT&T to Verizon in June when her contract is up.
We looked at phones this weekend, and she thinks she wants to get the T730,
as it is virtually identical to her GSM T720.  I've read some horror
postings in the past of the CDMA T720.  What is the verdict on ...

lg vx6000 ringers11 May 2004 05:19 GMT1
Just got the usb cable from tangshop.com to connect to my phone and traded
some ringers with a neighbor already but does anyone know if there are any
sites I can visit for more ringers? Also, I was wondering if I can create my
own ringers since they are just .mid files.
how to make real voice ringers11 May 2004 05:12 GMT2
This software is all you'd need to make an send to Verizon phone real auio
like sounding ringtones. You can take any CD, MP3 (or WAV, VOX, etc.) file,
or even AVI (extracts audio only), select a part of it, make it a ringtone
and send it to a phone all in one shot. Worth a look I ...

Why no smaller blackberry units for Verizon?11 May 2004 01:15 GMT3
Is there a reason why the smaller 72xx (7280) isn't produced for Verizon.  Is
it a technology issue?  I know they just came out with a new color bb, but it
is the larger size.
Thanks in advance.
Data Minutes Used Balance ?11 May 2004 01:15 GMT1
I have NA-MOU (National Access Minutes of Use) feature activated on my
account (found it listed on my recent phone purchase/plan activation
receipt from local store).  I used the service for 15-20 minutes while
on commuter bus 7-8am this AM.  When I went to check/logged into My
