Has anyone used their Verizon phone in Australia on Telstra? My son will be in Gold Coast, near Brisbane, for college and thought about taking his phone. With the 111111 verizon lock code, it could be reprogrammed or maybe it just needs a different PRL. Any thoughts about Australian ...

I currently have a Kyocera 2135 and a serial cable I connect to my laptop and Palm Pilot. The newer Kyocera phones have changed the connector on the bottom of the phone so I'll need to purchase a new cable if I upgrade.

My current contract with Verizon ends on June 19th, and I'm looking for a new phone. I'm looking for a mobile phone that: 1. is small, non-camera, web-enabled, with a color screen (like LG VX3200/VX4600, Aiudiovox CDM8600, Samsung a530s);

| 2 months into a new contract, VZW replaces a VX6000 lost, for $79.99: you've got to ask to receive. | 27 May 2004 19:21 GMT | 1 |
Two months into a new contract, a smooth talking person gets VZW to replace his now broken VX6000 for $79.99. Outstanding customer service. So in 2 months, he got 2 VX6000; he asked, and was persistent. You got to hand it to him for his effort and persistence.
