Number of rings...20 May 2004 09:18 GMT3
Anyone notice that the number of rings before going to voicemail has
decreased?  I think it used to be 10-12 rings... now it seems to be less
than that...(maybe 7-8?) Had quite a few calls that went to voicemail before
I could answer them--thinking "I got a few more rings to answer
LG VX6000 alert signals20 May 2004 03:06 GMT12
Is there anyway on the LG VX6000 to have it remind you that you missed a
call or have voice mail messages waiting?  I know that you can set a tone to
sound when the message first comes in or the missed call first happens, but
what I would like is a "reminder" tone every minute or ...
Alaska VZW Service; Need Advice19 May 2004 15:12 GMT5
I'm on VZW America's Choice 300 Plan.  Have a Motorola T730 (CDMA and
AMPS).
I looked at VZW's coverage map and it appears there is some roaming
service available.  Is roaming digital CDMA or analog?
AMPS in northern California?19 May 2004 15:10 GMT4
I'm getting ready to re-up my Verizon service and pick up new phones for
myself and my family.  I've faithfully used tri-mode phones for the past
few years because I live in Marin, spend a lot of time in Sonoma county
and West Marin, and cannot get a digital signal in many of ...

New Every Two on Aircards ?19 May 2004 02:08 GMT1
I just got my first bill for National Broadband Access, the $79/mo unlimited
plan.   I have the 5220 1xEVDO Aircard.   This is a data-only card, of
course.   I notice on the bill they list all the options available on the
account, silly items like 3 way calling, caller ID, etc.  ...
No new phones till labor day! Really?18 May 2004 22:54 GMT5
The sales rep in the natick mass store told me this today when I asked when
they will have some new camera phones from Lg or other suppliers. I would
like to replace my 4400 with a speakerphone model with a better display
than the 4500 but a camera with flash would also be great.
New phone w/o contract renewal?18 May 2004 21:49 GMT15
I am looking to retire my Kyocera 2235 after more than two years of
service.  I am taking the phone apart and adjusting the display almost
everyday.  Thanks to the person who posted the information about that,
btw, it bought me a good 6 months.  The phone still works great and I

Nokia 3589i PC Connectivity Kit18 May 2004 20:40 GMT1
Where can I get a Nokia 3589i PC Connectivity Kit?  The store that sold me
the phone was able to quote me a price of $39.99, but had none in stock and
they are not yet available through VZW telesales.
How long to transfer number from ATT ?18 May 2004 19:22 GMT3
Anybody have an idea on how long it's taking to transfer an ATTWS number to
VZW ?   I had read last fall ATT was the slowest in the business on this.
Thanks.

? about Pre Pay with Verizon Wireless18 May 2004 17:04 GMT1
Is it possible to purchase the Kyocera Slider from VZW to use on their Pre
Pay?  Or are you stuck with what they sell for Pre Pay?  Also, does their
Pre Pay offer any type of wap usage?  Thanks
LG VX6000 car charger18 May 2004 12:37 GMT3
I just bought the LG VX6000 & want to get an in car charger for it. The Verizon
store sells them for $29.99. I found one on Daydeal.com for $9.99 with no
shipping charges.  Will the one from Daydeal work the same as the one from
Verizon? Anyone had any expierence with buying an off ...
Verizon service in Australia & New Zealand ??18 May 2004 12:36 GMT5
I beleive I know the answer to this question given Verizon service is CDMA,
but can anyone tell me if a Verizon phone will work in Australia or New
Zealand? My father will be traveling there next January and asked me to
check out options for cell phones while there.
Verizon no longer selling LG 440018 May 2004 06:07 GMT11
I have been aware for quite some time that Verizon was going to stop selling
the LG VX 4400 at some point, but I am severely disappointed that they have
not come out with any decent replacement for it (for my needs) before they
stopped selling it.
