Motorola V710 for Verizon Wireless18 May 2004 00:54 GMT5
Ok, ok here are the facts...
  1. We've got the motorola contest for the v710 that ends on July
10th 2004 (This suggests that the phone should be released at least a
month before then).
Nokia 3589i Default Security Code17 May 2004 23:34 GMT5
I just got a new 3589i today.  The manual says the default security code is
12345.  Doesn't work, neither does 11111 another common default.
Also how can I display the PRL on this phone?
North Americas choice17 May 2004 20:14 GMT6
Does anyone know if NA Choice works in Tijuana, Rosarito Beach Ensenada area
? The map seems to only show the sites as around central Mexico.
Thanks,

Home Charger question17 May 2004 19:40 GMT6
I've got a question about my phone's home charger.
If it's plugged in and not charging my phone, will
the transformer burn up?
Thanks.
Best Provider17 May 2004 19:28 GMT5
I've heard it said in this and other forums that Verizon with all its
faults has the best national coverage.  Just in case they terminally
piss me off, and they are getting close, who in your opinion has the
SECOND best national coverage.
EN...keep getting booted off?17 May 2004 15:28 GMT3
I am using Express Network 1x and I keep getting booted off.  It usually
happens at night, after nine.  It's Sat morn and things seem to be better.
I don't get booted off as often, but it still happens.  We use the cell
phone for all our online stuff because we are full-time RVers.
No unlock code17 May 2004 12:44 GMT4
I bought an LG VX10 on ebay to replace the same phone that I accidentally
(of course!) ran over with my car.  It works perfectly but I don't have the
unlock code.  The seller has been most helpful but none of the codes he gave
me try have worked.
800 MHz verses 1900 MHz maps17 May 2004 07:21 GMT11
Does anybody have any good maps of where Verizon has 1900 MHz service verses
their 800 MHz service? I'm looking for something similar to the national AC
plan map, except with the 1900mhz-only areas removed.
Thanks,
Kyocera 7135 - Palm OS version17 May 2004 04:24 GMT1
I've noticed that the current Palm OS version in the 7135 is 4.1. This
is surprising to me because Palm OS 5.x has been available for a while.
Has anyone successfully upgraded this phone to 5.x?
Motorola V120e error message17 May 2004 02:02 GMT1
I have a Motorola V120e and it's been a good, useful phone for about a
year and a half. No problems with it, etc., etc. However, I went to
charge it today, same as I always do, same battery, same charger, and
instead of charging it turned itself on and displaed an error message
Treo T60017 May 2004 01:13 GMT1
Any information as to when this is coming to Verizon Wireless?  I have seen it
on Phonescoop.com that it is tentatively coming...
Removing "Verizon Wireless" banner from screen of LG 460016 May 2004 23:55 GMT9
I just got a new LG 4600 phone; the "Verizon Wireless" banner on the
screen clutters up a neat wallpaper I have. Any idea how to remove it?
I can add (and remove) my own banner but have found no way to remove
the pre-installed Verizon banner. No offense to Verizon, but their
National In-Network Calling16 May 2004 19:10 GMT18
I just got my first Verizon phone last week and today found out my
sister's family got three Verizon phones at about the same time.
According to the current verizonwireless.com web page, the America's
Choice plan has a promotion of free In-Network calling. I don't recall
The loudest CDMA phone?16 May 2004 18:34 GMT7
A heard of hearing retiree; not yet into a hearing aid, wants a color flip
phone with the loudest ring possible.  Looking for the loudest ringing
phone?  Even if we have to create/download a loud ringer!
He had a startac, and it was almost okay.  I am wondering if you have some
