| Dies for no reason? | 13 Jun 2004 19:28 GMT | 1 |
I have a VX6000 and three times now it died for no reason. I went to open it to make a call, and it was blank. I tried holding power to turn it on, nothing. I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in, and that fixed it. Every time. Is there something I'm accidentally ...

| I'm coming to Verizon and need advice. | 13 Jun 2004 01:54 GMT | 14 |
I'm finally leaving Sprint PCS and to Verizon. My question is about the phones, I have no landline so I need a phone with good reception. Right know I'm looking at the Samsung SCH-a530s, Motorola V60s and the LG VX4600, but know nothing about them. One other thing that is important ...

| new v60s analog TERRIBLE, sample defect? | 12 Jun 2004 19:42 GMT | 5 |
Just got back from Northeastern PA (Wayne County) where Verizon STILL has no coverage, and relies on a horrible analog roaming partner. Long story short, I finally broke down and gave up my SingleRate East plan, because I'll need to use my phone in Florida.

| 1x Designation on Verizon Phones | 12 Jun 2004 05:47 GMT | 4 |
Been awhile since I have looked at new Verizon phones. I have the older Moto V60(one of the originals). On this phone it is basically either a D or an A(and yes even No Service). When I was in the Verizon store I noticed all of their phones had a 1x designation. Is this some sort of ...

| Manhattan - recent service degredation? | 12 Jun 2004 05:00 GMT | 10 |
On the upper west side of Manhattan. I have recently experienced a serious drop in service quality and signal strength causing me to miss calls, and to have my phone go into analog, which is preferable to a 1X signal with no bars where there used to be 3

| roaming in Argentina? | 12 Jun 2004 01:46 GMT | 3 |
I've heard rumors that my Verizon phone may work in Argentina, but, if it does, I'll pay expensive roaming rates. I called VZW, and they didn't know if it would work, but, like me, thought that it might, but if it didn't they didn't know how much it would cost.

| Listing the owner of an unlisted number? illegal? | 12 Jun 2004 00:50 GMT | 22 |
I have just looked over the FCC web site to see if this is true, can't find anything, so I thought maybe someone here would know if listing the owner of an unlisted number, in a public forum, like this one, is illegal? This question originates from CreditBoards, where people who ...

How do you get graphics into an LG VX4500 for use as wallpaper? I looked through the manual but didn't see any references to this feature.

| SCH-A690 | 11 Jun 2004 19:46 GMT | 4 |
Any word on availability for this phone? It's been approved by the FCC for a year and 3 days now, but still hasn't hit the market. I've been told that it's been in testing by Verizon for 3-4 months now, and I've heard rumors that it's supposed to be available in the first half

| Verizon finally has some competition... | 11 Jun 2004 05:33 GMT | 14 |
Well, AT&T has started offering a no-roaming GSM plan with a real footprint as opposed to the pathetic on-network footprint they started with. Here in Oregon, this should include roaming anywhere T-Mobile or EdgeWireless has coverage, and eventually Cellular One NW. GSM users will ...
