Will  a t-mobile SIMM card work in a Verizon phone?
making own ringtones09 Jun 2004 23:35 GMT1
I am considering purchasing the A670 or one of the other camera phones
for Verizon. However, I think that the Get It Now pricing is a total
rip-off. Is there a way to make your own ringtones from mp3s, wavs,
etc and put them on the phone with a data cable or another way?
Verizon vs. Alltel09 Jun 2004 16:28 GMT12
Hello, I am a Cingular TDMA customer, and I am considering switching
cell phone companies. I am looking at Verizon or Alltel, because their
CDMA networks cover more areas than the GSM networks of Cingular,
Nextel, and T-Mobile, or what I was lead to believe.

I would be interested if anybody has negative or positive comments about
their new color model?
Address book corrupting phone?09 Jun 2004 01:44 GMT3
In my quest for a return of the quality of service I've had for 5 years,
VZ just swapped out my phone and moved my address book over.  VX 4400
Service didn't improve.
In a phone conversation with tech support, I was told that occasionally
National Access question08 Jun 2004 14:01 GMT5
I just ported my Sprint number to Verizon.  I got the LG VX4500 which is
capable of National Access with the Office Connection kit.  I got the $34.99
America's Choice play but I did not add the megabyte plans for National
Access.  Now my question is, if I connection my laptop to the ...
Car Charger Question08 Jun 2004 02:50 GMT4
My friend says the car has to be running for the car charger to
work properly.  I say that's wrong, it's charging off the car's
battery and will charge just fine when the car is turned off.
She goes on to say, "Well, maybe it charges but it's not a full
Digital only phones08 Jun 2004 02:37 GMT5
Anyone have an opinion on whether it is a good idea to get an all digital
only phone versus a tri-mode phone?
Thanks.

Why is the Venturi icon in the taskbar marked with a red X?  Does this mean
that it is not working at all?

New phone before contract expires?07 Jun 2004 18:24 GMT4
I suspect I already know the answer to this question.  However, I would ask
that you confirm whether I'm correct or not.  My two-year contract with
Verizon does not expire until March 2005.  I would like to upgrade my phone
before that time.  I do not want to tamper with my existing ...
Verizon Wireless LD charges confusion...07 Jun 2004 17:19 GMT7
I'm currently looking into getting a cellular line with Verizon
Wireless but am getting conflicting information from both customer
service at Verizon Wireless as well as the dealers.  My question is:
Does the $34.99 (if offered) provide for included LD to Canada (ie: no
UPDATE: New phone before contract expires?07 Jun 2004 17:05 GMT1
I had no problems at all purchasing a newer phone.  Instead of the Nokia, I
opted to go for the LG VX6000.  It cost me a pretty penny, but I think it
was worth it.  I cannot, for the life of me, figure out a way to have the
key lights remain while the flip is open.  The key lights ...

What's Wrong With This Picture?07 Jun 2004 14:47 GMT13
The back story: a couple of weeks ago, my wife received a telemarketing call at
our home from someone who identified themselves as representing Verizon
Wireless. As always, my wife asked to be placed on their Do Not Call list as
required by 47 USC section 227. The telemarketer ...
