Simultaneous Ring and Vibrate03 Jun 2004 02:41 GMT7
Does Verizon currently sell any phone that rings and vibrates at the
same time. I know there are some phones that do this if the ringer
volume is set to maximum, but I would like to get one that will ring
at any volume and vibrate simultaneosuly.

Does 3G data connection with a laptop use plan minutes?  Or is it an added
option to your plan?
Thanks in advance.

I was comparing phones on the Verizon site and some of the phones say NO
under the National Access feature heading. What does this mean?
How can I tell if EVDO service is being deployed?02 Jun 2004 13:59 GMT4
Lately I have been seeing quite a number of new (similar looking) cell
towers being erected around my area (Hillsboro Oregon which is part of the
Portland metro area).  I have been trying to figure out which provider might
be doing this?  Many of them appear to be power pole ...

I just upgraded to a Sierra Wireless PC-5220 Air Card, it basically

1 - If I leave the card in while booting it wont initialize - it hangs
on that screen endlessly.

Just a heads-up for those of you who have an America's Choice plan and

MI new offering?01 Jun 2004 12:20 GMT9
In today's Grand Rapids Press, VZW has a full page add that says "Take More
Minutes to More Places Across Michigan".  The add then goes on to say 1000
anytime minutes and nationwide long distance.  $39.99 a month. But when I
look at the website, I don't see this offering anywhere.  ...
Kind of OT: Verizon sales people versus Cingular sales people01 Jun 2004 10:54 GMT5
I'm a Verizon subscriber in San Diego, CA. Here at my local mall
(University Towne Centre, for San Diego locals who might be interested) we
have little outdoor booths where people can buy cell phones. Verizon has a
booth, ATT has one, and Cingular has at least two.
How do I set up Venturi software for QNC  (14.4K) internet access?01 Jun 2004 06:16 GMT5
I recently bought a new LG VX4400 phone and switched to Verizon.
With the data cable, I have been able to connect to Verizons QNC
Internet access
service. I can browse with my laptop at a "blazing" 14400 baud.
terrible coverage holes in Fairfax, VA01 Jun 2004 04:03 GMT2
My wife and I switched to Verizon when we lived in New Jersey. The coverage
in the Union County area was unbeatable-- 4 bars anywhere we went-- and near
full signal inside department stores, supermarkets, & etc. After relocating
to Fairfax, VA, the VSW signal is problematic-- weak ...
