I have a Moto v60 phone from Verizon and my husband has one from At&t.
His phone shows no service at my sister's house (who lives in the
country, outside of Austin)  Her Cingular has no service at her house
either.  She has GSM and C/TDMA - (whichever one it is).  I am not

I thought I had read in this NG that checking VM was billed against your
anytime minutes.  However, I just tested this by taking a before and after
snapshot of my minutes of use on line and found that checking my VM is being
logged against my IN NETwork minutes (free for me).

I'm currently using a Kyocera 6035, which works fine, but is beat up.
I plan to upgrade to the Samsung i600 or Kyocera 7135.  I gather there
are potential issues with either choice, and welcome advice.

About once a week or so my ringer goes off, but when I pick up the
phone it says "restricted call".  If I answer it, no ones there. I am
disconnected immediately.   If I don't answer it, the phone
disconnects after 3 or 4 rings.

I've been considering upgrading to a Kyocera 7135.  Am I correct in my
reading of the VZW web site that I have to add a data plan to my voice plan
to be able to get email and web browsing?  I currently have a National
Single Rate plan and use the phone as a modem for my laptop and ...

like to have it on my lg 4500.  When it rings, I will know for sure
