Who do you complain to?15 Jun 2004 14:40 GMT24
I've been with VZ for 5 years and three phones.
I've always gotten passable signal strength in one part of my house and
good reception in the other part.
I just signed a new 2 year contract about 3 months ago.
Battery explosion?15 Jun 2004 06:58 GMT10
My buddy at work has a Kyocera (not a flip phone) that he took to the
local store today asking about replacing an eight month old battery
due to the battery not holding a charge. The technical guy immediately
accused my buddy of dropping the phone then stated the battery had
Anyone Use Verizon Wireless in15 Jun 2004 02:38 GMT13
I am looking to switch carriers, I am currently with Cingular on their
GSM nation but they sort of suck around the DC area, I get plenty of
dropped calls and no signal near my apt.  I decided to try Verizon to
see if they are any better and was looking for feedback from any

Microwave and cell phone disaster15 Jun 2004 00:29 GMT3
And I mean a food microwave:  Customer "claims" that they placed there
Motorola 120e next to the microwave (as they have done many times) to charge
it.  But in this case, they also turned on the microwave for 15 minutes on
high, and allegedly, "fried" the display of the cell phone.

NE2 available...advice about phones14 Jun 2004 22:50 GMT1
Verizon just let me know that I'm eligible for New Every 2 on our
current two phones.  My wife and I have Samsung A310s and have liked
them very much in terms of reception and sound quality (the ringers
and mediocre battery life we've endured ;)
Problems with text messaging to UK14 Jun 2004 21:24 GMT5
I have been a customer with Verizon for 5 months now.  One of the main
reasons I got the phone was to use text messaging to the UK to my sister and
brother-in-law.  They are both Vodafone customers (a Verizon partner company
with which Verizon has text messaging capability).

America's Choice plan and my move to another state?14 Jun 2004 08:19 GMT1
I have my Verizon Wireless service set up just the way I want it with 1200
minute America's Choice, National Access minutes of use for use with my lap
top and Internet access (I had a terrible time getting them to add this to
my lines), promotional free text messaging 100, unlimited ...
