Hi! I am using LG 4500 as modem to connect to Earthlink server. Though
connection shows as 230 kb, it seems much slower then land line of 56k. Am I
missing some configuration here (got Windows XP), or is really slower,
eventhough showing 4 times the one of laptop modem?

Anyone know if the RL2000 is any good?  I've had a somewhat ruggedized
phone in the past and enjoyed it a lot.  It went swimming twice (oops)
and recovered both times.  Been dropped, kicked, thrown and used as a

I took a stroll through the super-discount, no-return clearance room at

Besides a whole bunch of Audiovox Theras for VZW at $75, they also had a
pile of Treo 190 Handsprings for T-Mobile at $40.

I have a 4400 that keeps getting urgent VMI's even when the sender does NOT
leave a urgent message. TS told me I need to upgrade to firmware ver 11. I
currently have ver 6. What other changes will the software upgrade make?
Will I lose any phonebook entries or GIN applications?

Do I have to use certain phones with the pre-pay plans?  Can I take a
phone from a normal plan (out of contract) and use it with the pre-pay
system?

everytime i get a call or a message it reboots the phone. happens all the
time untul i take the battery out. i went to get it flashed this last
friday... the tech guy says well you will still get dropped calls but not as
many... i was walking out and the phone rebooted and he said ...
