VZW Web11 Jul 2004 05:05 GMT8
I just switched back to VZW and took the Mobile Web option. I have an
email account that I would like to check from the phone (Audivox
CDM-8900). I have done this, but, it is very cumbersome and I am
wondering if there is a way to shortcut (bookmark?) the process.

where VZW really needs to put a minicell10 Jul 2004 15:05 GMT10
Inside Chicago Union Station.
You *might* get an unusable analog signal in the concourse, but you have to
go out onto a platform (a high-numbered one, near the river) to get digital
or make a call.
Minute usage question10 Jul 2004 15:05 GMT3
Hi, on my plan, I have 300 anytime minutes, 1000 In-network minutes, and
unlimited nights/weekends.  Right now, I've used about 300 Pk In-netwk and
800 off-peak In-network which equals 1100 minutes.  Question is, will I be
charged for going over the 1000 minutes or will those ...
New Motorola Phones10 Jul 2004 14:46 GMT21
Visited the local Verizon store today here in Houston and a tech had the new
V810 which he said he has had for about 3 months or so.  He's tested the
V710 and the V810, and the V710 release has been pushed back due to signal
issues on the phone.  He did state though that the V810 ...
Beyond incompetence10 Jul 2004 08:17 GMT8
It doesn't seem possible that a company could be this incompetent, but here's
here is the ugly story (charitably abbreviated):
On Feb. 8, 2004, using telesales, I contracted with Verizon for a new
cellphone account, with two lines, one (phone A) to be ported from a business
New motorola phones?10 Jul 2004 08:16 GMT3
my 720/720 is going to need to be replaced shortly and my contract is coming
up.  Are there any new motorola phones coming out? Where can I get info?  I
can't seem to find out anything on the verizon website.
Thanks in advance, Jim
Aircard replacement?10 Jul 2004 07:10 GMT4
I've had Express Network about a year now, using an Aircard 555 on
my laptops. For the most part, I'm happy with the service but I've
always felt the antenna on the car was pretty weak. I get crappy
reception in my pre-WW2 apartment building, which makes the
Which is the best phone for acquiring signal.10 Jul 2004 06:50 GMT1
I'm using a Samsung A530 now and looking to improve reception.
Which phone has the best antenna section.?  Which phone should I look for.?
Blackberry Questions10 Jul 2004 05:19 GMT1
Hi, I'm moving to DC and need to establish cellular service.  I've
heard that Verizon offers the best voice network in the District, so
I'm leaning towards subscribing with them.
I'm also interested in being able to receive and send email on the go,
Bluetooth adapter for T720, V60, etc.09 Jul 2004 23:09 GMT2
If you go to the Motorola site, navigate to the US phone accessories
page, select the T720 phone(CDMA), select Bluetooth Wireless Technology
products, you will find the Wireless Adapter DC600 - S9874, which claims
to be compatible with a whole bunch of Motorola phones, including the
Phones with chips?09 Jul 2004 15:01 GMT21
My co-worker just signed up with T-Mobile.  He said he got a Samsung (? Or
Sanyo).  The phone has all the ESN, Phone book, etc. programmed in a chip
smaller than an SD card.  He has a friend who has a Moto V300 just sitting
in the closet.  His friend said, here, try this out.  My ...
Verizon Wireless billing trick, scam $40 "mistake"  09 Jul 2004 14:37 GMT91
Two of my relatives just signed up for Verizon Wireless' "America's
Choice" plan.
On the surface it sounds good,  400 shared peak time minutes
per-month, unlimited nights and weekends usage, no long distance
True SMS Paging09 Jul 2004 12:41 GMT3
Will any VZW phone, or optional service, provide true pager-type
notification when an SMS message comes in?  I mean constant loud beeping for
a minute or more before it stops.  Loud and long enough to wake you from a
deep sleep?
