| Multi-band Phones, which band? | 07 Jul 2004 06:13 GMT | 1 |
When I'm using a multi-band phone, is there any way to tell which band is being used? Point in question here...I have a friend using an old dual band (I guess its AMPS/800 MHz) phone. If I went to his area with my 800 MHZ/1900PCS) phone , would I be able to see if his local towers ...

| Motorola Bag Phone Speakerphone Kit? | 07 Jul 2004 03:43 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone know where, or if I might be able to find the speakerphone kit for a motorola bag phone? I've got just the bag and the phone, but if possible I'd like to mount this thing and have it work a little more like a "car phone".

| Motorola V60 switch to Verizon? | 06 Jul 2004 23:55 GMT | 3 |
My husband and I currently have Unicel, a spin-off from Cellular One. We are in the Northeast, in the hills of Vermont, and get the best reception from them. (Which isn't too great!) We are moving to Provo Utah in December, and need to switch to a different cell company.

I have a motorolla T8367 (talkabout) trimode phone that I bought about 3 1/2 years ago, I haven't used it for about a year and a half now. Basically after my 2 year sprint contract was up, I jumped ship and went to verizon, bought a new phone, new number. the whole thing.

| bought the Therea, now what? | 06 Jul 2004 04:05 GMT | 3 |
Thursday morning, I went to Radio Shack first and bought a voice recorder for $40 (which turned out to be the old price). (It does a nice job, but it does not interface with the computer. I think I will return it in a few days.)

Hello. I have VX4500 and this phone can be set to "Driving mode", although, the incoming announcement in driving mode comes through the speakerphone and you are expected to respond "YES" using the phone mic, even though you are using a headset. Anyway, when you are finished with ...

| Nokia 3589i, loose battery problems? | 06 Jul 2004 02:02 GMT | 3 |
Does anybody here know if the Nokia 3589i suffers from the same loose battery problems that affected older Nokias? I have a 3285 right now that turns itself off fairly often now; I think it's due to a loose battery. I'm eligible for a "free" new phone with the New Every Two ...

I have my password stored in my voicemail (*86TT#xxxx)and it works fine when I use speed dial 1. When I get a new voicemail and my screen shows that I have one, if I click on the prompt asking me if I want to listen to this voicemail...my phone only dials the *86 part, it does not ...

| New VZW customers - Watch your first bill!@#$%*^% | 06 Jul 2004 00:27 GMT | 12 |
I am new to Verizon. I ported my phone from Sprint. The main reason was Sprint has a very poor signal in my house. I tried different Sprint phones - no luck. When I signed up with Sprint, my billing cycle started the day I signed up.

| How to switch between phones? | 05 Jul 2004 22:22 GMT | 2 |
Via the NE2 program, I moved from a V60i to a VX4500. (although I enviously eye that screen on the Samsung a670.. but that's another story). I was somewhat dismayed to learn that the VX4500 is digital only. If I carry my V60i with me and find myself in an analog only area, is it ...

| VX4500 available memory | 05 Jul 2004 20:03 GMT | 2 |
I think I have read somewhere about a question on how to view the available memory in a VX4500. I found it: Press the Get_It_Now key (the right side of the navigator button) or press Menu -> 4 Get It Now, then press OK, then select Settings,
