v60p  or vx450017 Jul 2004 21:37 GMT4
Busted my 530, so I'm back in the market. I'm most interested in
reception and a speakerphone. No interest in a camera.
Looks like these are the two phones that should do it. In the store
today I liked the moto better: looked sturdier ( the 530 broke at the
VX4400 Battery Life17 Jul 2004 17:18 GMT15
I just bought a VX4400B phone.  I am still within my 15 days.  I
really like the phone, but the battery life seems to be very poor.  I
am not a power user, and I have adjusted all the LCD settings and such
to decent levels (in the 50% range), stayed in digital mode, etc.  I
lg4400 Firmware17 Jul 2004 15:51 GMT7
I have a lg4400 with firmware 11. What dose the 2 arrows mean that flash for
a few seconds when I am in Get It Now and Web? What dose the circle arrow
mean that flashes? The 2 arrows flash for a few seconds and then it goes to
the circle arrow. I had firmware 6 before I upgraded to ...
Verizon and Overseas calls17 Jul 2004 07:03 GMT10
Is there anyone who uses their cell for overseas calls.  I have been
contemplating changing from AT&T and my $19.95 plan which I have kept as I
use the phone only for emergencies.  My home phone (wired) is also used very
little and if I combined what I spend on both I could spend ...
Can't send text msg!17 Jul 2004 06:03 GMT3
For the last couple of days, I have not been able to send text messages
from my LG vx4400. I can receive messages, but not reply or send new
messages. I get a message failed response, then when selected yes in the
try again dialog, a message indicating a network error. CS claims ...

T730 vs. V60s16 Jul 2004 20:36 GMT12
I am considering these 2 phones.  Does anyone have any specific
recommendations about either one?  I've read a lot of posts and it
seems that they are both pretty good?
Thanks for your help.

[LG VX600] Tetris and X-Ringer16 Jul 2004 04:41 GMT4
Perhaps some of you folks might assist me in the frustrating problem.
Actually, I have two problems (see 2nd paragraph for current dilemma).  The
first is something I guess I'll have to live with.  I downloaded Tetris.  I
keep the sound level at low.  Oddly, whenever I exit out of ...
Loud Ring Tone Needed16 Jul 2004 01:58 GMT2
The ring tone volume on my recently acquired Audiovox CDM-8900 (Verizon)
phone reminds me of a  Nokia 6360 (AT&T) I had several years ago as it
relates to loudness. At the time I found a Nokia tone that sounded like
a bee and escalated with each ring until it got really loud.
July 5th16 Jul 2004 01:40 GMT54
I'm assuming that since July 5th is the "legal holiday" for the Fourth
that VZW will consider it a holiday for airtime charges? (in other
words, off peak time instead of peak time).

Niagara falls SID?16 Jul 2004 00:49 GMT20
I want to force my phone onto the US Verizon network at Niagara falls
instead of roaming in Canada.
In my LG4400, I need to key in the SID.
I was told that for Niagara, Verizon's SID is 154.

Motorola 810?15 Jul 2004 13:40 GMT3
I have seen the Motorola 810 mentioned in relation to the "promised, promised,
promised...." Motorola 710 for Verizon.  The 810 is always refered to as being
released days after the 710, but other than that it too is supposed to be a
"picture" phone, I have been able to find out ...
